Faulty product, bad customer service
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this for just over a month and it worked fine, went on vacation with it still working when i left. I came back from vacation and turned the monitor on to discover a crack in it despite it not being touched the whole time I was gone seeing as i live alone. Scheduled an appointment best buy/geek squad to look at it to try to get a repair, refund or replacement, and was offered 0 real help or solutions despite having purchased the 4 year warranty for the product. They told me the warranty doesnt cover physical damage even tho there's 0 proof that the crack is from physical damage and not something that happened internally. I've had plenty of asus monitors in my day that I've owned for years and have had 0 problems with any of them until now with best buys. I will not be bringing my business back to best buy ever again, the product and the customer service was the absolute worst I've ever experienced from a company as big and well known as best buy.

TUF-Nuf
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Asus TUF gaming (budget) department has been doing a great job, I would even go as far to say its keeping up with the ROG (premium) end line up and this continues with this 32 inch curved monitor. When it comes to the display the curve is slight so there isn’t much of an adjustment needed if you have never had a curve screen before. The viewing angles are good, even those sitting off center get a good viewing experience as you still see great colors and there is no washing out if looking from the side. The colors are natural and not overly saturated. The blacks look good but you will get blooming in very dark scenes. There is a anti-reflective coating but it isn’t going to defuse strong lights behind you. The specs say the brightness is only 300 nits but I measured it at was 415 nits which is good, not great but good enough for most places. For gaming this monitor is excellent, it’s got a fast 250 refresh rate with great response times, if you haven’t used 240+ Htz refresh rate once you use it there is no going back. I didn’t see any screen tearing because of the adaptive sync tech in any of the games I played and the added crosshair function is a nice touch so you don’t burden your CPU/GPU. The port selection for the TUF monitor is great, there is 2 HDMI 2.0 and 1 DP 1.4 this coupled with a audio port there isn’t much else you can ask for. My only issue with the port is where they are located, being below the screen it the worst place for them as you must lay the screen down to insert the cords. The control buttons for the monitor are wonderful and have a great click to them, the circle navigation button responds quick to all inputs and there is no dely. Even the auto switch between inputs works well, it’s not instant it does take about 5-7 seconds. The TUF DisplayWidget Center is one of the best monitor applications I have used in a long time. It works across both windows and Mac and works flawlessly. Most monitor adjustment programs suck, they are slow and clunky but that’s not the case with DisplayWidget. The program was responsive and all adjustments happened instantly and you can change everything to your preference. How well the adjustment app works makes this monitor better than most premium devices. The TUF monitor is a wonderful full HD monitor that offers all the bells and whistles for gamers. The only short comings are the low speakers and the screen isn’t full adjustable (it only tilts).

Great Monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this monitor. Setup out of the box is straight forward. Simple 2 part stand that clips in or you can use VESA mount and mount. I choose to mount it on an wall mount. It included screws for this setup in the box. Nothing needed otherwise. Standard 3prong power cord and HDMI/DP connections. The only thing for this monitor is that its NOT 4K. It is 1080 but bitdepth is 10 bit, supports HDR and according to my PC. Peak NIT is 417 Picture is nice, I don't notice and screen door effect. Its plenty bright and has a smooth motion. Didn't notice any ghosting or artifacts from about 4 feet away. Due to the curved screen you do get some reduction in brightness if not centered. Its not bad though. I use this for an extra work monitor as well - works great on that as well. One thing I will note is that all the physical function buttons are on the right hand side. So this might be a factor for your personal setup. Otherwise, plug and play on setup and works really well. Pricing is aggressive for a curved screen and seems to be money spent!

Good value in a curved HD gaming monitor
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" FHD VA 250Hz 0.5ms Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync Premium (AMD’s open-source Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) solution) is a good value for both a large monitor and one that is curved. While the monitor is compatible with NVIDIA’s G-SYNC it does not have the hardware necessary to support native G-SYNC. Unless you are hard core gamer you don’t need to go down the rabbit hole of VRR implementation. This monitor has a 250Hz refresh rate and I was able to successfully drive it at 1920x1080 240Hz using both my integrated graphics GPU (AMD Radeon 780M) and my nVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU. The monitor when driven with the right combo of GPU and CPU in a gaming rig produces smooth gameplay. My gaming experience was superior with quick scene changes that would make my 60hz or 30hz monitors scream for mercy. No smearing or mushy transitions with this monitor. Even though the resolution is only HD (1920 x 1080), video playback is clear without any anomalies or artifacts. I was less impressed than I usually am with a TV or monitor with HDR capabilities. I did not think colors or brightness popped as well as standard Rec.709 color space footage did. My OLED monitor, which struggles at times with brightness, had a substantially better picture in HDR mode. In reality this monitor is all about refresh rate and response time, which it delivers on. The form factor and curved screen at this price point is good, although the monitor does not have many physical adjustments (it only tilts up and down) given its size vertical adjustments are not necessary. The monitor is stable on the stand and is easily assembled, although I would have liked better screws than the typical Phillips head screw type attaching the stand to the display panel (which has a standard VESA mount pattern, for use with multiple monitor stands. The default monitor settings seemed fine and setup was basically plug and play. I really liked the (on screen display) OSD and menu system. The monitor comes with a DisplayPort cable (for its single DisplayPort 1.2 input) and also has two HDMI 2.0 ports (no HDMI cables included). Overall, I thought the ASUS - TUF Gaming 32" curved HD monitor is a good value and performs well at this price point. It has decent brightness and color reproduction in challenging use cases. The ASUS monitor widget (which can be installed on Windows and Mac computers) also was useful and works with my second ASUS monitor from the ProArt lineup. >>> Pros >> Incredible refresh rate >> Value priced >> Excellent OSD menu >> Useful monitor widget available for Windows and Mac OS >> Curved monitor reduces glare <<< Cons << HDR Performance could be better

Excellent for work from home! Good value for games
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This may seem like a weird monitor choice for a home office setup, but hear me out... it's absolutely excellent for those who usually need one, to one and a half (horizontal) monitors and a vertical for documents. The readability is phenomenal, smoot but sharp text, vibrant imagery without hurting your eyes after a long day, the perfect setup to lead you into an after work gaming session! The 32-inch size and angle of the curve are perfect for immersing your into the action, or the meeting, of the day. You can keep the monitor cranked as high in refresh rate as possible, or draw it down a bit to better match the pace of your play. I'd give this a 5/5 if the coloring maintained better accuracy along the outer 15% of each edge of the screen, with what almost looks like a straight up-and-down line of brightness where the color drastically fades toward the edges. I wasn't able to catch it on camera, just perceived by the eye, so maybe it was just myself and SO that were able to see it while gaming or watching videos. This wasn't noticeable while working, but that's almost all website based research content, emails, Teams calls, and documents, so you don't really care to notice the vibrancy of the colors to the edges. Overall, its a great looking monitor inside and out with an excellent response time and great refresh rate! The radius of the curve is perfect for a 32-inch size and 1080P resolution, even those who are used to the color vibrance of IPS LCD panels will be pleasantly pleased with how amazing this VA LCD panel looks, we're just noticing that washout of color at the outside 15% of each side of the panel. Maybe not even something other's would notice,

Fast-paced Full HD Gaming at a great price!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First impression. The box was much bigger than I expected. I was confused at first because this is not our first 32 inch monitor, but then I realized that it was because of the curve in the monitor, which requires a noticeably bigger box than for flat panels. 32 inches is a great size; I would say 32 to 34 inches is probably ideal for most situations and for most setups. The monitor is on the heavy side. I love the simple base. It’s super stable, while maintaining open space on my desk for my USB Hub, remote control, etc. The design style is simple, and mostly plastic, but I like that it’s not flashy. Setup. Assembly is easy, essentially putting together the base, the mount, and the monitor. The package includes a small screw driver and four screws. Once you assemble the base and mount, the monitor can safely be hung on the two “tabs” of the mount while you screw the mount tight. Of note, the screws are fairly low quality and were stripping as they got tighter. Performance. This monitor rocks! I played Black Ops 6 over the weekend to test it out because I know the game well. Gameplay is smooth and enjoyable, with no tearing. The image quality is good; it’s full HD only, but well executed with good contrast ratio and HDR. No issues on the dark scenes and it shines on the fastest scenes. Of course, if you are comparing this monitor to more expensive 2K and 4K monitors, you will be able to nitpick, but at FHD and at this price point, it’s a good package. Like most gaming monitors, the settings include a gaming mode and virtual aim points. The curved monitor is more immersive, which I enjoy, but I feel like the viewing angle sweet spot is smaller for the edges of the screen (if I move my head off center and look at the edges, they are a little darker). What I love. - Great price! Lots of value for what you get - 32 inches is the perfect size - 250hz refresh and 0.5 milliseconds response time! - Full HD resolution - HDR for better colors - Extreme Low Motion Blur and Variable Overdrive for a smooth gaming experience - AMD Freesync Premium - 1x Display Port and 2x HDMI ports! - There are integrated speakers! It makes life easy for quick checks and setups. Thank you! - It comes with a Display Port cable! - Nice proportions; it looks thin all the way around - I love the rugged and simple styling; there is no fluff - Pretty good contrast ratio (3500:1); adjust blacks and brightness in the settings to get better results - 3-Year Warranty!! (is that right??) - Easy on the eyes: flicker free and Low blue light - Lots of options in the settings (as you might expect) - Download the DisplayWidget Center, it’s actually great! What I don’t love. - The physical buttons on the back of the monitor are a bit high from the bottom. If you have two monitors side-by-side, it will be hard to reach some of the buttons on the back by just reaching your hand to the back from the bottom of the monitor. Definitely not optimal if you want to make an in-game adjustment. On the other hand, the DisplayWidget Center is great! Install it and you are good. - The monitor does not include an HDMI cable. Not a problem for me because I have quite a few laying around, but making a note for some so they plan ahead if they need an HDMI cable for their setup - I feel that with curve monitors, the viewing angle is narrower. It’s a more immersive experience when looking straight on, but the edges suffer when I am off-center - The stand only tilts forward and back; normal at this price range though Overall, this monitor is great for fast-pace gaming and for your wallet. I think you get quite a lot of value for your money, even at full retail price. It’s a really great option. I highly recommend it.

A Solid 32 Inch Gaming Monitor That Delivers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this monitor for about a week now, and so far it has been pretty solid. For the price point, this is a really good gaming monitor. It offers a curved 32-inch screen, full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution, two HDMI ports, one DisplayPort, an earphone jack, and built-in speakers. Inside the box you get the monitor, a stand, a DisplayPort cable, a power cable, and a small screwdriver. The monitor settings include quite a lot of customization. You get overclocking options, variable refresh rates, GameVisual, Shadow Boost, and my favorite feature, GamePlus. GamePlus gives you several useful tools such as multiple crosshair choices, an FPS counter, a stopwatch, and display alignment helpers. It is a nice set of features for anyone who likes to fine tune their setup. The size of the monitor feels perfect for gaming. I think 32 inches is the sweet spot because it fills your field of view without causing eye fatigue the way a large TV can when you are constantly looking from corner to corner. The refresh rate is excellent at 250Hz (60Hz out of the box), and the response time comes in at only 0.5 milliseconds. The monitor includes a lightweight stand with a tilt function. It cannot raise or lower, but it is VESA mount compatible if you want more flexibility. Adaptive sync works well and keeps up with the graphics card with no issues. The buttons on the back make it easy to access gaming settings quickly if you want to make changes on the fly. I do wish the circular knob button was located on the bottom of the monitor since that would make it a little easier to reach. I was also surprised to see built-in speakers, which I feel are becoming more rare in monitors today. They sound good, although I still prefer to wear a headset while gaming. Overall, I am really enjoying this monitor. It gets the job done without the high price tag of a 4K curved display. Games run smoothly and look great, and I have not had a single issue so far. I am a big fan of ASUS gaming products. I have the tower, keyboard, and now this monitor, and they all sync together perfectly with RGB and the Aura Wallpaper through the Armoury Crate app. The entire setup looks clean and unified. ASUS did a great job with this monitor. It is a perfect introductory gaming monitor at this size and spec, and I am glad I picked it up.

It's A TUF Act To Follow
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This in not a 4K monitor. But you have to ask yourself, "Do I really need a 4K monitor to get prestige level 3, or do I just simply want to waste precious electricity to have a minor visual upgrade?" The answer is a definitive, "No". You just don't. Save that for some primo video editing. Editing is not the reason that you're looking at this monitor. You're a gamer or you have a loved one who is a gamer and you'd love nothing more than to get them..or yourself, a sweet new sleek curved monitor. TheTuf series of gaming laptops are, in my opinion, some of the best budget friendly portable rigs out. And they can make a mean monitor, as well. I've had my share of monitors(Gaming and otherwise). Maonly because I've been blessed to get to review them, and I have to say, that any monitor I've used from ASUS has been great piece of tech. This monitor is built for gaming. It visually appealing to the eye and it can fit any desk-top set-up, because of its slim "V"-style stand and the option to float it using the four screws in the back. I personally prefer to float flat monitors, but to each his/her own. The controls are easy to navigate. All on the lower right-hand side of the screen (In the back) giving you 31.5" in' of bezeless display to work with. And my favorite part is the fact that there are internal speakers. Oh my goodness.I love the extra space that comes with not needing to have those little boxes clutttering up my workstation. That's extra space of my figurines. I replaced a monitor of another brand (who's name, I won't say, but you've heard of em'.) of the same size, but somehow, this one feels a little larger and smaller ( because I no longer need the speakers.). This does bring up the one issue that I do have. It is ironically also about my favorite feature. Those speakers. While I do love them, & they are good. It seems like they don't go pass 65% volume. By that, I mean, you just don't hear a significant difference in volume after that point. Again, I'm glad they're there for when I'm steaming with a local guest, but other than that, I'll simply use a pair of gaming headphones. I still love the feature, and I hope that they will improve the sound quality in future iderations. Other than that issue, along with the affordable price, this is a no-brainer purchase. This will look great in any gaming set-up. Get TUF & Go Home.

PS5 4K Downscaling Is A Pleasant Surprise
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you're looking for a massive screen that doesn't require a second mortgage, the ASUS TUF Gaming 32" Curved Monitor is hitting a serious sweet spot. After spending some time with it, here is the breakdown of why this might be the best "bang for your buck" upgrade for your setup. Gaming Performance: Built for Speed This is where the monitor really flexes. With a 250Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms response time, the motion clarity is buttery smooth. If you’re playing competitive shooters or fast-paced racers, that high ceiling for frames makes a noticeable difference in how responsive everything feels. Plus, with FreeSync Premium, you can say goodbye to annoying screen tearing. Visuals: Surprisingly Sharp There’s often a worry that 1080p (FHD) on a 32-inch screen might look "stretchy," but ASUS managed to keep the resolution looking remarkably crisp. The VA panel delivers deep blacks and great contrast, and the curve really helps pull you into the action without feeling overwhelmed by the screen size. The "Secret Weapon": 4K Downscaling The most surprising feature—and a total game-changer—is the 4K downscaling support. If you plug in a PS5, the monitor can actually accept a 4K signal and downscale it to FHD. This results in a much sharper image than a standard 1080p output, giving console players a high-end visual experience on a more affordable display. Ease of Use & Value ASUS didn't overcomplicate things here. The setup is straightforward, and the on-screen display (OSD) menu is intuitive, making it easy to tweak your HDR settings or brightness on the fly. The Bottom Line: For the price, the value is incredible. You're getting: Massive 32-inch immersive curve Pro-level 250Hz speed Hidden 4K compatibility for consoles It’s a fantastic choice for gamers who want the "big screen" experience and high-speed performance without the 4K price tag. Definitely a win for any battlestation.
