Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the TUF Gaming A16 laptop's strong performance, solid build quality, and satisfactory battery life. Many also appreciate its reasonable price, exceptional speed, sufficient RAM, and great graphics. However, some customers have noted that the laptop can get hot during demanding games and that the fan noise can be loud. Additionally, a few users feel that the storage could be larger, the laptop is a bit heavy, and the screen brightness could be improved.

Good laptop with good performance but week battery life. But when pluged in it performance very good you can say it is a power hungry beast that needs constant food to keep performing well.the display is good but the brightness could have been better.

The build is great. Ability to upgrade ram and add an extra ssd is also great. Runs games at 1080p pretty well but I mostly bought it for personal use which it does really well.

Amazing laptop! I got it on sale during Black Friday and it was very well priced. The only problem so far I’ve had is it shutting down randomly a few times but I think that could be a windows issue and not the computer directly. It works really well for both gaming and school, definitely a great starter computer or basic gaming/school computer!

5/5 Stars - Unbeatable Value for 1080p Gaming! I'm blown away by the Asus Tuf A16 Advantage gaming laptop! With the Radeon RX 7700S GPU, this laptop delivers incredible performance for the price. I snagged it on sale for under $700, which is an absolute steal considering the horsepower it brings. The RX 7700S GPU is a beast, matching and even beating the RTX 4060 in some cases. I've been playing demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin's Creed Odyssey at high settings, and the laptop handles them with ease. What's even more impressive is the laptop's battery life. I've been getting around 6-7 hours of web browsing, which is remarkable for a gaming laptop. The laptop also remains plenty cool during extended gaming sessions, thanks to its excellent cooling system. The keyboard and touchpad are also comfortable and responsive. My only recommendation would be to upgrade the RAM to 32GB, as the standard 16GB might not be enough for heavy multitaskers. Overall, the Asus Tuf A16 Advantage is an incredible value for 1080p gaming. If you're in the market for a powerful gaming laptop that won't break the bank, look no further! Pros: - Unbeatable value for 1080p gaming - Powerful Radeon RX 7700S GPU - Good battery life - Excellent cooling system - Comfortable keyboard and touchpad Cons: - 16GB RAM might not be enough for heavy multitaskers (upgrading to 32GB recommended) - Display is just ok, light bleed is clearly visible on black screens

I need a compact solution to play Black Desert Online and doing stuff. Just swap from a gtx 4060 laptop to 7700s and i think its a gain. The FSR and AFMF technology from AMD is one heck of a deal. I found this renders my game much nicer and faster even they benchmarked mostly the same. I had rx 6700s before but its just a flop, this gpu is much better. Too bad amd gpu laptop is way underwhelming. Laptop is okay sizing, strong design, 2x m.2 nvme. I run 8GB+32GB ram 4800hz and it works just fine. Can’t speak of the screen since i hook up a TV all the time. Very good for the price when they are under 900. Im a happy owner and since gpu tech doesnt advance for like 5 years ill be using it for a long while.

Great overall value on sale... Good for gaming, working from home or basic computing. Nice screen, could be a little brighter. Nice backlit keyboard. Occasionally has frozen and needs hard reset which is slightly concerning, but all in all would buy again especially if on sale. Thanks Best Buy for offering great products at reasonable prices

I bought this laptop as a excellent open box when it was on sale for black friday and this laptop is one of the best purchases i have ever made its equivalent to a rtx 4070 laptop and the cheapest you can get one of those for are minimum 1300$ and i would say this is the smoothest experience for a laptop I have ever experienced. It is definitely high mid tear for gaming I would recommend for everyone to get this even for its 1100$ price tag

I picked this up when it was on sale - best purchase ever! Love the sleekness! Super fast and very easy to set up. I wasn't prepared for it already having Windows 11 already installed, so it took some getting used to. Battery life has thoroughly impressed me where I can leave it off the charger (not gaming but just general web surfing/digital art) and it has a charge for around 5-6 hours. I've only played a couple of games on it so far and primarily use it for digital art, but so far I love it!

Had some hiccups in the begining with the Integrated APU and the GPU fighting for the battery. Still havent been able to get more than an Hour of battery even running minimal apps. But battery life is not why you buy a gamming laptop. This runs anything I throw at it with no issues. It does get a little loud but that's the price you pay for mobile AAA gaming.

Amazing laptop, got it for $840. It's run everything I've thrown at it so far. iGPU can get up to 8 hours of battery life with the right settings. Upgradable storage and RAM is a rare commodity these days and makes this laptop even more worth it. 32GB of RAM and 1.5TB of storage with the possibility to further upgrade make this a worthy buy for me.

Performance is amazing, great build quality, the keyboard response is ok, system in general is quite. On a side note, make sure that you update your drivers often because otherwise it tends to get graphical artifacts (just experienced them in Windows and not while gaming)

So far this gaming laptop has been solid! I play Battlefield 4, Counter Strike with no lag. My son plays Fortnite and Roblox constantly with no problems. I bought a nice laptop cooler for it because it runs hot in games. I would buy again.

This is a well put together gaming laptop and best when purchased on sale (759.00 at the time). Battery life can fluctuate pretty heavy depending on what you are doing (2ish hours in game and about 9 doing web browsing). No issues running programs such as ARC Pro or other productivity programs such as office. Also has a second M.2 slot and can have the RAM improved to 32GB.

For being “TUF” this laptop certainly is not tough. I’ve had to send it in for physical hardware repairs for a second time now. The hinge, all the screws, the lamination around the screen has fallen apart. Processor runs great. I can play all my games. But the hardware not manufactured appropriately.

Amazing gaming laptop with good price to performance if on sale. I got an open box excellent one that was on sale for the low price of 690. I limit the heat by using G Helper and I run 120+ fps on most games. Recommend adding more storage though.

Great laptop. Upgradable. Thin for a gaming laptop. Great keyboard and trackpad. Good port selection with USB4 and RJ45. Performance in games is good including some raytracing titles. Runs Linux including Kali. Virtualization works no problem. For the price I paid hard to fault anything with this unit

Son is very happy with this purchase. He previously had a different gaming laptop that died and figured cheaper in the log run to replace than try to fix it after getting a few quotes. For the price and quality of this new laptop, he is extremely pleased with the laptop overall. He likes the graphics, its smooth and the screen display looks good. The only thing he said is when playing some games the fans are loud but he said that's expected also.

Very good laptop. Perfect for 1080p 90fps gaming. Just make sure to cap the fps to 90. I've played heavy graphics demanding and heavy cpu demanding games, about 95% of the new games perform very good but. Happy with my purchase. If the fps are not capped some heavy games makes the laptop heatup. Even with the IETS GT600.

I am keeping this laptop despite this review. I think price per dollar is an extremely good value. Especially since I bought this on sale for 700. Cons: -Sleep issues are still prevalent -Sometimes won't turn out without being plugged in after opening up to install ram/wifi/ssd Pros: -Great gaming performance at a 700 price point -Fans are not loud -Despite reviewers and advertised - I expect a consistent 9 hour battery life from this laptop, which to me is exceptional -Screen is visually pleasing, without going into technical detail. I returned the (now 1600 Asus ROG G16 w/ intel i7 13th gen + 4070) Yes, this laptop has a clearly better screen than the G16. -USB-C 100w charging is great alternative when you're in a pinch and don't want to lug around your 240w charger
