Great little for midrange gaming rig

Good, solid machine. I upgraded the RAM (which says 32 GB max, but I went with 64 GB with no issues), and added an SSD. The only thing to watch out for is to set it to hibernate vs Sleep. Sleep seems to wake on a bump or mouse touch. The 7700 handles cyberpunk nicely, can't go insane on the setting, but now I see reflections in the hood while I drive around the city.

Easy to set up. No crapware other than W11. I appreciate how easy it was to add a second SSD. Cracking the case was simple with a plastic spudger. I keep it in silent mode because it's being used for multi track recording. It's as fast as my purpose built, air gapped studio computer. No perceptible fan noise at all. The only problems I have is dealing with Ammo Crate and AMD Tuning. I don't think they play well together. The other gotcha is the sound system. I use a variety of studio interfaces and they all work but trying to route didgial output to the headphone Jack has only worked ONE TIME. I was hoping to use this machine for mastering without any external gear attached. The display is awesome for what I'm doing. I've hooked it up to a 37" monitor and that works exceptionally well too. Kind of disappointed that it doesn't support 5600 memory. It has it hit only runs it at 4800. There doesn't appear to be any way to change it. If you're going to use it for gaming you probably need an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.

This is a well put together gaming laptop and best when purchased on sale (759.00 at the time). Battery life can fluctuate pretty heavy depending on what you are doing (2ish hours in game and about 9 doing web browsing). No issues running programs such as ARC Pro or other productivity programs such as office. Also has a second M.2 slot and can have the RAM improved to 32GB.

I bought this for my sister in law and she is so impressed with the price and performance. I even saved so much more by buying open boxes items. I was hesitant at first because I am thinking that the quality might be affected but it is not. I had a little bit of trouble because I was missing the power cord for the charger. But bestbuy fix it by giving me one when I informed them.

I love this laptop. The display is beautiful, the keypad is beautiful, and for what you’re paying. Man is it fast. I’ve been playing triple A games and it’s been running them like a beast. I did upgrade it to 32gb of ddr5 ram and I would recommend doing so, since 16GB doesn’t seem like enough these days. (Super easy process to do btw)

This is my firs gaming laptop. All specs meet what is required for the games I play. it handles Helldivers 2 and EDF5 with ease. I highly recommend adding a second SSD to expand storage as the main will fill quickly if you have a lot of regularly played games. Be patient and take your time to learn the AMD Adrenaline system, this machine has great potential! The display barely has glare, is very responsive and is easy on the eyes at higher brightness.

Great computer, runs fast, I did get an additional SSD, the SN770 just for extra. Helps keep computer running smooth. You can’t go wrong with ASUS. I even have the gaming phone with this company and no complaints other than running a little hot, but it’s a phone so the fans aren’t big enough.

Laptop came shipped in a simple cardboard box with cardboard supports inside to protect it. A+ on the eco friendly packaging. Laptop gets plenty hot, as others have stated, uncomfortably hot even... a cooling pad that have a few fans would help if you're planning on sitting on the couch, etc. with this laptop in your lap. Laptop has had some sleep issues that seems to be intermittent. I've updated BIOS / all drivers, per ASUS but it still doesn't seem to always want to sleep properly. As I currently don't utilize the laptop full time, I haven't "dealt" with the issues yet but hope ASUS takes the issues seriously or they'll end up with a ton of RMA requests. Wifi card didn't play very nicely with my older router... I ended up getting a new router but researching it, it seems like many users have had issues with the WiFi card that ships with this laptop. You can swap it out with an Intel AX200 or AX210 for $20-$30 .. alas, most people don't want the hassle of having to do that with a brand new laptop.

Wonderful Laptop. Runs any game at over 120Fps without an issue. Also great for everyday use as its light and portable. The only drawback is the the battery life, so while i game i keep it on the charger.

Good gaming computer for just about entry level gamers. Spec'd well enough to run most games and quality seems great thus far. It does seem to run hot, so probably want this more on a table/desk than on the lap.

This is a great laptop if you can get it on sale and now how to work the settings of the pc and how to utilize asus armory. Poor thermals. Out of the box this thing will max 95c EASY. It is a laptop but thats pretty bad, however there are some things you can do to easily keep the temps manageable when your gaming or other intense tasks. Just look up stuff on the internet about the tuf a16 and you'll find some ideas to try out. I got this laptop on sale and for an 8 core cpu and an 8 gig gpu it was a heck of a deal! Haven't played to many games yet but with the tweaks to manage temp I was running Space Marines 2 on high settings while maintaining 70c range. This goes for 1100 here on bestbuy, if you can get it for under 800 like I did id for sure consider it! to be completely honest I feel like you can get something better for 1100.
