Customers are saying
Customers are impressed with the TUF Gaming A16 laptop's strong performance, solid build quality, and satisfactory battery life. Many also appreciate its reasonable price, exceptional speed, sufficient RAM, and great graphics. However, some customers have noted that the laptop can get hot during demanding games and that the fan noise can be loud. Additionally, a few users feel that the storage could be larger, the laptop is a bit heavy, and the screen brightness could be improved.

Works as expected, fans kinda loud
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works pretty great, no major complaints. I will say that some more demanding games will have the fans running super loud so just be aware of that.

Solid Mid level Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great ASUS TUF Laptop with super fast Radeon graphics card. Great for gaming. Fast - sturdy - quick boot. I easily upgraded with a Samsung 980 2T SSD. Will upgrade RAM later - 16G is good for now. No setup issues. When fast FPM gaming it gets a little warm, and cooling fans kick in silently, I just notice some warm air coming out of exhaust ports - as expected. With normal internet browsing or office use it runs cool, no heat at all, fans do not turn on. Display is brighter than most, love the 16" WUXGA display. Most laptops you see these days are really flimsy (this is my 3rd laptop in 20 years), but the ASUS TUF laptops are build sturdier than average.

Good for the money
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as an additional pc to my desktop. If it was primary, storage would be an issue, but that is easily upgradable. For the money, a great deal.

Great power and great price!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great power for its price. Especially on sale! It crushes anything I've thrown at it from Doom Eternal to Cyberpunk 2077! When I run it in silent mode for mundane tasks like browsing and YouTube, it doesn't make a sound. Battery life is just ok though. I have smart charging turned on so it only charges to 80%, so the battery life is pretty short, however, I can't imagine it going much longer with that extra 20%. Love this laptop for a good mid-high range gaming PC

Awesome Gaming laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this gaming laptop (My first gaming laptop) for two purposes: To record music using a DAW software for music projects and light casual gaming. After doing extensive research online, this model from Asus provides the necessary hardware, RAM and power from AMD radeon cpu and GPU for my needs and i'm very happy with it and runs like a dream. Will buy another Asus gaming laptop again in the future.

Good hardware for a good price
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this on a pretty good sale however even not on sale the dGPU is well worth the price increase. I'm able to run modern titles at 1440p at a stable 60fps on a mix of medium-high settings. Definitely a capable gaming rig and the laptop form factor makes it extremely portable

Great laptop for fun and job
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Taking into account the price I paid for this laptop, it is great. Haven't tried most recent games yet but the ones I tried worked perfect without any freezing. The screen is comfortable for eyes. Almost silent when doing office tasks. Graphics switches automatically when you start playing. Touchpad seems not perfect, right click button sometimes doesn't react when press lightly, but I use a regular mouse. So it doesn't annoy. Overall great universal laptop.

Works as expected
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has been a good laptop so far. I use it for light gaming, but it's handled everything I've thrown at it so far on at least decent settings. It's fast and quiet. I bought a laptop cooler as well, which helps keep the heat off my legs, because it does put out a lot of heat. I've minitored temps and framerates and have been happy so far with what I get. I personally capped the frame rate at 60 fps, which keeps the temps and the noise down overall.

Great!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love that I can work and play on this laptop. It crashes every so often if I use it for gaming too much. Great choice and my very first type of gaming/work laptop.

Great Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this laptop. It's built sturdy and it's specs are high enough to allow me to play good games on it, and still has everything I need for day to day use. I could easily use only this and get rid of my desktop computer.

Great computer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop would recommend. Though it is a bit loud while gaming I don’t really mind as most of the time I am wherein noise canceling headphones. Great thermals. The only problem I have with it is the low storage but there is an extra slot, so easy to upgrade.

Great Laptop for gaming and production
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have owned for about a year now, and has been able to handle everything I throw at it! Temperatures stay relatively cool for a gaming laptop, even under heavy loads.

It’s okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works but doesn’t work. Sometimes my mouse cursor will freeze. Games will crash. The thing that really really sucks is that the AMD Adrenaline software doesn’t stay on the pc. It uninstalls itself causing hardware issues. I’ve tried everything to keep the software on the pc permanently. It won’t. I don’t know if this was a faulty windows/labtop install or what. But other than that the gaming is really fun. It will freeze and crash BUT it’s rare! It’s okay but not bad, not great either.
