If you are unable to run applications due to system crash, please update Windows, drivers, BIOS, applications and the Armoury Crate utility software if outdated. Updates for the device are posted at: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-gaming/tuf-gaming/asus-tuf-gaming-a16-advantage-edition-2023/helpdesk_download?model2Name=FA617NT. Configure your application settings inside the newer version of the Armoury Crate utility software posted at: https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/ . If problem persists, Windows is possibly corrupted, we recommend to perform a Cloud Recovery or a factory reset. For helpful tips on how to perform a factory reset, please visit our Product Support page at: https://www.asus.com/us/support/cloud-recovery/ . Additionally, if you are accessing applications online, please ensure this laptop has access to an established router and internet service is working properly since this will definitely affect system stability and performance. Regarding your concern about thermal issues. It is normal for laptop, with the same hardware configuration and regardless of the manufacturer, to generate more heat than normal while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan. When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.If these steps were performed to no avail, please try to run a diagnostics or optimization test using the "My ASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, please download the application at the Microsoft Store. For details on how to use "My ASUS", please go to: https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1041686/.
To improve or prolong the battery charged time, please try to do battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully charged, please use the system, without the AC adapter connected, and drain it completely again. Please repeat the charging process thereafter. Also, please verify if this laptop is running with the most Windows, drivers and BIOS update. Furthermore, no third-party battery draining applications are running in the background if not in use.

I was told that I'd earn $75 in rewards for joining Best Buy Plus, but I only received $50. After not making any progress with customer service I am left to believe that I was willfully lied to. I would strongly recommend this product, but I would not recommend purchasing anything from Best Buy.
