What a TUF pill to swallow. Not my first build on AMD to say the least. I've been around since the Ryzen 5 1600 came to market. Been with a 2700x, 3700x, 5800x, 5900x before this. Bought this brand new from BB. Also got the AData XPG DDR5-6000 cl40 from BB as well, I mean, it actually matches the QVL for RAM support on the X670E TUF PLUS WiFi! Well, from the first boot I had a BSOD in the middle of Windows setup. And it was all downhill from there. Started off with a Ryzen 5 7600x. Experiencing multiple frequent crashes, I swapped CPU and RAM and ran the system barebones, one DIMM at a time, no change. It was LITERALLY a painstaking three more DDR5 kits before I finally concluded this board was the only thing I haven't swapped out. I returned this board. Walked away with an MSI B650 MAG Tomahawk. For being $70 cheaper and on a different, 'lower tier' chipset... I score higher on Cinenench R23 than I used to (29909 vs 28200) on this motherboard. And my system is stable now. For what it's worth, no, I didn't consult the Geek Squad and I didn't consult ASUS. It would be more hassle if I was to do so. I've been building PC's for the last 25 years, and I know how to research these newer platforms when something quirky seems to be going on. Very disappointed, again, in my attempt of returning to an ASUS motherboard. I should have gone with the MSI in the first place. My most recent system has the X570S Carbon Max WiFi and has been nothing less than stellar. TL;DR- not mentioned above in my rant.. but the board has a defect for sure. DRAM debug LED lights amber and stays. For hours. Like 12+ hours... Machine likes to not POST after a system restart. This is with no XMP, XMP, and EXPO modes all attempted. Just do yourself a favor and stay away.

    DO NOT BUY ASUS

DO NOT BUY ASUS. This motherboard FRIED itself AND my 7950x after 6 weeks. When I went to RMA, I sent in the nonworking MB in pristine physical condition. I was sent back a quote for repair MORE than a brand new mb would cost and a picture of a motherboard with the bottom right portion bent all too hell. There are reports of these motherboards frying CPUs all over the net, and horror stories about the ASUS RMA process. Count this as another story.

      Dear SorryNoTortilla,

Great motherboard , I will say the rgb placement on the actual motherboard is not visible due to gpu but beside that minor cosmetic inconvenience it’s a gem for the price one of the highest midrange mother boards easily .

If you're looking for an X-670 motherboard that will also be reliable and stand the test of time, i definitely recommend this motherboard. Super sleek looking, looks and feels tough, probably over built but thats a plus. Updating the BIOS went super smooth, has EXPO I & II preconfigured, BIOS is super easy and smooth. Asus time and time again has yet to fail with their TUF series.

Works great, but a few issues. 1.) You'll have to download updated drivers to get the WiFi to even work. 2.) MANY points of contact to bolt into the case. 3.) Some of the minute labeling on the board for power contacts is difficult to see/read. None of these are serious deal breakers. It's a solid motherboard that can handle a decent amount.

I bought this to replace a DOA mobo for my new 7800x3D stealth build. My initial board (MSI) was DOA from NewEgg. I have owned many Asus products over the years so when I saw this I did some research and bought it online and picked it up in-store. What I expected. Works flawlessly and looks good. Only minor gripe was a bit of confusion on how to set the boot drive when installing Windows... but I didn't have the USB stick connected when I looked for it... learn something new every time.

Bought an MSI board which arrived as a complete lemon. AFter hours of trouble shooting and failure, finally just packed it up and returned to store and grabbed this. Popped in all my components and was off and running. $200 cheaper than MSI board for almost the same features (half the RAM support, no 11 segment). So far has been super stable.
