Bought this back in October 1 2024 and never had a problem with it. And if you need something that plugs and plays, then this is the right product for you.

The asus network adapter works well, and was easy to install. I alos like how low-profile and cheap the device is while also boasting great connectivity and performance.

Aside from trying to find the drivers on ASUS's website, the setup is fairly easy. Once the drivers are installed, you can just plug and play after a system restart. The link to download the drivers on the user manual page is broken / has changed. To find the drivers, go search of AC53 USB on their website and search under support (instead of products), and you can find the drivers there.

Works well, throughput is slightly behind the larger TP link AC1200 with the big antenna. The TP link antenna fell off so I found this. No having to remove it when I put it in my bag. My wifi card is wonky or maybe my laptop. The wifi drivers disappear on their own and don't like to reload without a hard reset. So I use adaptors.

It provides both 5G and 2.4 G connection frequencies at USB speeds (sadly, only USB 2.0 for me). Installation is a snap and performance is as fast as I can achieve via USB 2.0. And it is affordable, too.

Item was recommended by associate Andy. It replaced an older network adapter and increased speed by a factor of 5. Easy installation via a downloaded installation kit.

My home office is located the furtherst point from the modem so it has always been a challenge to receive a good WiFi signal there. That was until I began using this ASUS dual band adapter. Now my WiFi signal has improved significantly as though the modem is right in my office. It does the job!

This was a very reasonably priced adapter and works great! Very happy with the speed and efficiency of this item. Highly recommended.

Great solution for my problem. Instead replacing a module, this device gave the wi fi my PC needed, with no problems. Easy installation. A but. If this brand could insert the software in the same device, it would be great. Since the CD unit is not available for so many pc and the problem is not getting internet it was hard to download teh software without wifi.

Great Network adapter. It surprised me with how small it was. I found it super easy to set up for my friends PC build. Definitely recommend.

When your wireless adapter goes out you need something that doesn’t take up a lot of room, is reliable, and easy to use. software comes loaded in adapter just plug it in and use!

The piece was easy, however, I did need to contact customer support to download the driver since our desktop computer did not have a disk drive. Customer Service was EASY to access, patient, and very helpful. So far the adapter has helped with the necessary speed for downloading games for the gamer in the house.
