I picked this unit because it specifically mentioned that it works with Linux. I run Ubuntu on my desktop computer. I followed the directions for installing the driver and it turned right on. It sounds good and seems to have decent range inside my home.

Excellent! My computer doesn't have Bluetooth but with Asus Bluetooth Adapter I can use my earbuds, Bluetooth headphones on my computer, laptop, and more new and surprising to me, My smart flatscreen TV.

My second one. I bought 2 for both of my machines which needed bluetooth. Sometimes it does randomly drop *but that could be interference

Windows installed generic Bluetooth drivers, so I went to ASUS’s website and downloaded and installed their drivers. I’m using this adapter with my desktop for connecting some Bluetooth headphones as well as an Xbox controller. Range is great, and I haven’t notice a lag with audio when watching videos or gameplay. Plus it supports the latest Bluetooth 5.0 standard, verses the cheaper Bluetooth 4.0 adapters. On another note that the Xbox controller can use either a Bluetooth connection or connect via an Xbox wireless adapter that actually costs $5 more than the Bluetooth adapter, and it doesn’t work with anything else. With the ASUS adapter it works with the controller and so much more.

I bought this adapter to add bluetooth to my office desktop so that I could use wireless headphones. Super easy, excellent performance. Very happy with this purchase.

I do like this product. It works well will my Asus 5700 Zephyrus laptop when i meed to connext my headsets or mouse. Only problem i have is when I try to connect my PsVR2 controllera they have trouble syncing and cannot move my hands in game smoothly.

I’ve had this for a month and it works pretty flawlessly. I’m very impressed with the performance comparing to a bluetooth PCI card. It’s much cheaper and seems to work just as well.

Simple and effective for what it does. (Provide Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity to a PC lacking Bluetooth.) It's literally plug-and-play with Windows 10; installs and works within seconds. This adapter gets about 30 ft of range before it drops connection, and is a good option for a desktop, or even a laptop/tablet that has issues with its built-in Bluetooth. I personally used this to connect a pair of Galaxy Buds+ earbuds to my custom built desktop, and it's proven to be reliable for my needs. Best used in a USB 2.0 port if available, since it doesn't utilize the USB 3.0 standard. (It will work in a USB 3 port, though.)

Super easy to get running, it was as simple as plug and play. Once the driver was installed I just restarted the computer and everything connected as it should have.

Detected and installed immediately in my windows PC. You can connect bluetooth devices and it works well. The only issue when you connect airpods which will work however, get disconnected immediately if you unlock you iphone or macbook. And then keep struggling to connect again. Probably need a dedicated bluetooth headphone for this.

Works great, had it for over a year now and I have only ever used it for audio. It has a great range and i've never had it disconnect on me.

Use this to connect Xbox, Switch Pro, and PC Sim racing wheel to PC for gaming. Works flawlessly so far.
