Genuinely plug and play, instructions helped trouble shoot to uninstall computers native drivers and install adapters drivers.

Turn OLD Laptop into Bluetooth capable

Not really a plug-in play style device if you already have a built in bluetooth receiver. Still very easy to setup if you follow directions.
