I would recommend to a friend, depending on how old their device is.

My onboard Bluetooth range is only around 5 feet so i got this adapter and it made it so i could leave the room without losing connection. I hope they add support for windows 11. Only recommend for supported os.

I only needed this item for a short while so I’ll probably just throw it away if it continues to have issues. Laptop recognized it right away, plug and play.

I have trouble sometimes with a device and distance. Doesn't seem to work very far for me.

My work Pc doesn’t have Bluetooth and this allows me to connect my headphones so I can do zoom calls and watch videos.

After checking, my computer had version 4 Bluetooth, the headphones were version 5. This tiny USB plug gives your older computer Version 5 Bluetooth.

The setup was fairly easy. It did not work at first but when I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it worked perfectly. I sit about 8 feet from the receiver and the connection breaks intermittently. Not enough to return, but I thought I should point it out.

It provides up to 3Mbps data rate with 8-DPSK modulation. I chose this adapter for high quality sound and it worked very well. I recommend this product.
