    The only thing I can say so far is a finally gave up on trying to download the driver. It's extremely frustrating. At some point I'll contact tech support. But my life is too fast and busy to be bothered right now.

    Could have better range!

    The range is not the best on this as we had our speaker about 15 feet from the computer and it was cutting out until we put it closer.

    Cannot review this item as I had to return and exchange it as I purchased it by mistake. Had to get a wifi adapter instead.

    Awful Windows 10 support

    Don't buy this if you have a windows 10 PC. After rebooting, it stops working unless I uninstall the drivers through device manager, and then have windows reinstall them by unplugging the device and plugging it back in (it took me a few tries to find this method). Just seems like a case of awful driver support from either Asus or Windows. Only giving it a two star because once the device is actually usable, it's OK.

    Makes other dongle/bluetooth devices not work

    Attempted to use this as an adapter on my PC that doesnt have bluetooth functionality. Issue arose with the blue tooth adapter interfering with other direct to connect dongles for my mouse, key board and other assesories.

    Died after 2 months. Best Buy says No Return.

    This worked great to replace another cheaper brand of Bluetooth adapter that I had been using. The old adapter was getting flaky and not remember paired devices, forcing me to re-pair over and over several times each week, so I bought ASUS thinking it would be higher quality. Well, it worked for a little less than 2 months, and then stopped connecting to my bluetooth devices. The best buy website says it can no longer be returned, so I guess I'll have to go through the manufacturer for a replacement? I would not recommend this dongle. Get something with a better warrantee or pay the $5 for the extended warrantee and let Best Buy deal with replacing it for you when it dies.

    Won't work in modern Linux.

    The main reason I bought this was because according to it's documentation, it runs on Linux. What I either didn't see, or totally missed was it needs a Kerne between 2.x and 4.x. Modern LinuxMint/Ubuntu, and many others have been on Kernel 5.x for over a year (not sure of the exact age). I'm running 5.4 even though 5.8 is already available. After 3-4 emails back and forth to Asus, their bottom line is they don'e, and probably won't support any thing newer than 4.x. Searching online for a fix, it appears that maybe ONE person thinks they have it running....sometimes, and then only after rebuilding the Kernel, not something I want to attempt. Bottom line, brought it back to BB for a full refund and some lucky windows type will get a nice discounted bargin. Very disappointing since I have an Asus mobo and thought it'd probably be compatable...wrong. Suggestions if anyone has one to recommend for Mint 20 / 5.4 kernel.

    Major connection issues

    My unit was either defective or this thing is a piece of garbage. After plugging it in and downloading the drivers from ASUS's website, windows recognized the device and everything seemed fine. Once I started connecting stuff, it all went downhill. I connected my wireless earbuds, but within roughly 30 seconds I will start to lose connection on either side before they disconnect completely. This happens every time I try to connect them. I also tried connecting a wireless game controller. It would connect fine, but the moment I input anything It will immediately stutter and disconnect. To make sure it wasn't just those two, I tried connecting a wireless mouse, and sure enough, the same thing happened. Again, I could have just received a defective unit, but I'm pretty disappointed. I already tried reinstalling the device and drivers 3 different times to no avail. Hopefully ASUS sees this and it can get sorted out.

    Didn't work!

    Followed the instructions including downloading the latest drivers. Including restarting the PC. Did not see this as part of the sound settings. Called tech support. Tries swapping usb ports uninstalling and reinstalling the driver both restarting the computer. She said it was a defective unit/
