A great value All-in-one
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The All-in-One space is fairly competitive. If you walk into Best Buy to check out the All-in-Ones, it is easy to get overwhelmed. One thing you might notice is that they all look pretty similar! So how can you separate from the pack? I think the package that the ASUS V440 has makes it worth it. I would say that the design aesthetic of All-in-Ones has gotten rather stagnant. As I mentioned before, all of them share similar to near-identical design languages, namely really thin bezels, pop-up webcams, etc. There is not much aesthetically different from the ASUS V440 and my 6-7 year old all-in-one that it is replacing. However, this is not necessarily a complaint as I rather like the sleek and modern designs. The ASUS V440 is not breaking any molds or barriers but neither does it disappoint. The build quality feels sturdy. The included wireless keyboard and mouse feel a tad cheap but no different than any of its competitors and in this world of constant shrinkflation, I can't complain too much as they very may well disappear one day. The display is an IPS panel and it gets the job done. It won't be stunning vibrant colors but it is perfect for office productivity tasks and content streaming. It gets decently bright and i had no issues using it in the living room which gets plenty of sunlight. Audio is good. It gets decently loud and stays crisp even at higher volumes. It is good to play music while cleaning the house. Port selection is good. One of the great values of this AIO is the included processor, RAM, and storage. This particular model has an Intel Core i5 processor with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage. The processor is a bit older and was made for laptops but is a decent performer especially compared to its competitors. The included RAM and storage are also nice touches. It performs well for the average consumer. It can handle LIGHT gaming fine. All in all, I think the ASUS V440 provides great value. It is an excellent computer for the family and office.

Great computer that's uncluttered & clean looking
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using this computer for a few weeks and it's been great. We got it for a general 'work station' and it's done everything we wanted it to. It's not going to be used for any gaming or heavy video needs so it's been working perfectly. Opening the box was easy. Remove the pieces, screw the base plate onto the vertical arm and you're ready to go. I hate to admit it took me a bit to get the mouse/keyboard working because I didn't see the USB transmitter in the mouse battery compartment. Once it removed that and plugged it into the back of the computer everything works perfectly. Browsing the internet or working documents work perfectly on this. Watching videos or streaming works great also. It's a nice size screen with good resolution and color. It's very convenient having everything in the monitor and not having to worry about a tower. If you have a little more space you, there is an HDMI port on the back and you can run a second monitor on this system. Honestly this setup would be perfect for a standing desk since everything you need is in the monitor so the only cord you'd be dragging up and down is the power cord. Honestly I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a good workstation, especially if you want something compact and easy to set up.

Great Look with Good Performance
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Literally for decades, I have been a huge fan of Asus computers and motherboards. Very rarely was I disappointed at anything, and I can say that this all-in-one computer is no exception. Although for gaming and video editing, I usually use a desktop PC with a dedicated GPU, my wife and can’t live without an all-in-one in our kitchen. We can check recipes while we cook, as well as watch videos. As weird as that might sound, we both have even used them for meetings. It was time to retire our old one and I was hoping this would be a perfect replacement. The first thing I liked was the slim profile with an edge-to-edge, very responsive touchscreen. It matched our kitchen style too. Even better than the one it replaced. Although I didn’t think I needed 100% sRGB color accuracy for my kitchen computer, I loved that it did because it looked great not only for a kitchen, but for any more serious work. I can even check my edited videos on it although I have a complaint outlined else in this review. Other users will most likely love the picture quality as well. My only semi disappointment here is that it is not OLED, but I don’t believe it would be cost effective since the price would be considerably higher, and an IPS screen is more than adequate for most use cases if you go past the 1080p resolution. While I wouldn’t recommend it for high-end gaming or heavy video editing due to its lack of a dedicated GPU, it still can be used for light games and editing short videos. The SSD performance was more than adequate for me, and I can’t complain about the 512GB storage since I store most of my files online or a separate NAS system anyway. And that much storage is more than enough to install my most common applications. In fact, overall performance was a lot better than I expected, especially for an Intel i5 CPU. I was also happy to see that it supports Wi-Fi 6, which is what I have at home, and it is considerably faster than Wi-Fi 5 or earlier generations. And lastly, I love that it comes with a pop-up web cam. I had to use one connected to USB before. Not with this Asus V440 because it’s right there when you need it.. What didn’t I really like? The keyboard and mouse look outdated, and don’t quite match the overall design of the computer because they look cheap in comparison. I’m ordering third party replacements because of that. Also, as I mentioned before, its 1080p resolution is somewhat disappointing and inadequate for some types of work although perfectly fine for my use case. Those are the only reasons I’m rating it four stars. Otherwise, this is a five-star system suitable for any home office and general productivity. And in the kitchen if you prefer!

Good, Basic Computer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Asus V440 Touch Screen All-in-One is a good basic computer for everyday tasks. It features a 24 inch FHD touch screen display, Intel Core i5 2.1 Ghz processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB ssd, and integrated graphics. As you can see from the specs, it won't be playing any modern games, but it is enough for everyday tasks like email, streaming, and social media. It also comes with a keyboard and mouse, which are decent enough and match the design of the computer, but I still prefer to bring my own. The webcam is also integrated into the system and can pop up when needed and hide away when not. It's a very nice little feature and keeps the overall looks of the computer nice and sleek when not in use. The system also features Wifi 6, which in my testing worked very well. I have gigabit internet in my home and I was able to get a nice strong, fast signal in the few places I tested it out. The system includes several connectivity options, including 1 HDMI out, 3 USB-A (rear), 1 USB-C (rear), 1 USB-A (front), ethernet, and a combo headphone/mic jack. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the connectivity options. I appreciate the 1 USB-A port and headphone/mic jack that are more conveniently located on the edge of the monitor, however, I would have also like an additional USB-C located there as well. As it is there is only 1 USB-C, and it is on the rear of the system. With more and more devices using USB-C, I would really like more ports on this system. Also, I will note that while there is an HDMI Out for connecting an external monitor, there is no HDMI In for using this as a monitor for an additional device. I'm really disappointed with this, especially since the product images show an HDMI In port. The product does not actually match the images shown in this regard. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this computer. It is a nice, basic computer that works well for everyday tasks. It could use some more USB-C ports, and I really wish it had HDMI In capabilities. But as it is, I could still recommend it if you're looking for a good all-around computer.

Compact and Stylish
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The all-in-one PC is very compact and stylish. It is hard to tell out of the box that is not just a regular monitor. The color is tannish white and is not too bright or dull. A big caveat out of the box is that the keyboard and mouse are wireless and do not connect with a doogle. You will not be able to setup the computer with these devices due to the fact you will need to be logged in to connect via Bluetooth. Please have a wired, or doogle connected mice and keyboard available for setup. Once this is done, setup is very easy. There is very little pre-installed software apart from a 30-day trial of Mcafee security software. The monitor swivels up and down but cannot be raised or lowered on the stand. The built-in speakers are load and sound clear and crisp. There is a built-in webcam that can be pulled out the top and hidden when not in use. This is not designed for gaming but will be an excellent basic use computer. We plan for my son to use for his home schooling. The 500gb harddrive has plenty enough storage and an external hard drive can be connected if needed. 16gb of RAM will allow multiple programs to run at the same time with ease. It runs very quietly and the chassis stays cool.

A Very Nice ASUS All-In-One 24" Computer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having just had my old desktop computer die on me, I was very happy to receive ASUS's new all-in-one 24" desktop V440 computer to test and review. Set up was very easy once the all-in-one computer/monitor was out of the box and the keyboard and mouse (batteries are included) that came with it were connected to the computer using the included dongle that is to be installed in a slot on the back of the monitor. Once everything was set up and charged, the computer automatically searched for operating system software updates and downloaded/installed those that were needed. This was one of the easiest installations I have experienced in a long time. It was up and running in very little time. The ASUS V440 All-In-One desktop computer comes with a touchscreen color monitor, keyboard and mouse with dongle, built-in webcam, speakers with array microphones, headphone jack, USB 2.0 port, mode button, LAN port, USB 3.2 Type C port, HDMI output port and USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. The computer features a 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM all running on Microsoft Windows 11 with Microsoft Edge browser with CoPilot AI available for use if desired. I found the computer to be very easy to set up with very little (if any) junk software to contend with. The screen is beautiful, the system responds quickly and starts up quite fast. All-in-all, this is a very capable computer for use at home, office or school at a very reasonable price point. Lots to like about this ASUS desktop al;l-in-one!

Powerful All-in-One computer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As the title suggests, this is a pretty powerful all-in-one computer. It is a great overall productivity device too. The 24" touch screen is also super responsive and worked great right out of the box. With 16 gigs of Ram and an Intel i5 processor, it is more than equipped for most work or school tasks. It also comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, which is super easy to setup. The 512GB SSD also provides more than sufficient storage when combined with cloud storage. The fact that it's an SSD also ensures faster response times, not just when using the computer but also when saving or accessing data on the computer. The built-in web cam also works really well and is built very sturdily with the ability to slide up and down for privacy. It also has great video quality for video calls as it's a 1080P camera. The sound is also really great and it has a fair amount of bass for watching videos or listening to music. It also comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse right in the box, but that does use up a USB port since it's not Bluetooth. But overall this is a really great PC, perfect for work or school use, or just general web browsing/home use.

Complete all in one system from Asus!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All in one computers are convenient options for smaller footprints on a desk and add in a touchscreen and you have an intuitive device that makes work, school or just day to day web tasks easier. Asus seems to keep coming up with great systems that are not only intuitive and user friendly, but easy to set up and stylish office appearance. This system is no different, easy to set up system, all in one touchscreen monitor, with keyboard and mouse, making this a complete system with great graphics, and a fast processor to make this a system that you are able to use for any task. The wireless mouse and keyboard are a nice touch to modernize this system and adding this monitor to any desktop. The monitor is large and spacious and looks great when streaming videos, openings multiple windows for work and add in the touchscreen and its ease of use and its a complete system that I enjoyed using for not only work during the day but entertainment streaming movies at night. I would highly recommend this system since its fast, convenient and another great device from Asus.

Great desktop for everyday computing.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a replacement for a failing laptop setup. Well, this is a great device that suits my daily needs (minus the gaming portion) Here are some items of note on this machine. Good: 1. all in one design makes it easy to move around and find space in small areas to place it. 2. size of screen in perfect for the correct sitting distance to give good visual coverage 3. boot up and reaction time is good for only having 16gbs of memory onboard. works well with daily tasks and activity. Just not meant for audio/video editing or gaming, as it does struggle. 4. included mouse and keyboard are fantastic and really feel comfortable when using them for long periods. 5. All needed programs are pre-loaded (some good, some bad), so if you don't want McAfee you can just remove it 6. Color and resolution are great and everything seems to pop with the contrast of the screen Bad: 1. lack of many USB ports in the back. there is only 4 and I had to use a hub to plug in my other stuff 2. location of video, network and power. They are too close to the USB ports. Making it a challenge to get cable sorted without something binding or bending. 3. even mild online games were lagging due to the Intel graphics card onboard. So I will just stick to business use and use laptop for gaming and such. All in all I am happy with the device and I know I will be using it alot in the coming months for late night streaming or other normal daily work.

Excellent AIO from ASUS!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ASUS V440 touch-screen all-in-one computer is an excellent daily use computer capable of most tasks for your household. For daily browsing and light work this is a great computer that clears up space on your desk due to being an all-in-one system. Featuring a nice looking, anti-glare, 1080p touch-screen display with a built in webcam that feels very satisfying when popping out. This is a very nice screen featuring a more than adequate amount of input/output options that are nicely managed on the back of the monitor, as well as some more frequently used ports that are available on the bottom of the screen for easy access. The system comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse that are serviceable, but are not very durable or nice. I would personally replace these with something nicer, but it is nice that they are included and only use one USB port to connect both the mouse and keyboard. Personally, I just feel that they are very clunky and not well built and I would replace them. This is a great system for anyone looking for a Window's based all-in-one computer and is a great choice for anyone that is looking for a new computer.

Great touch-screen desktop
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a new desktop, always consider ASUS. Asus makes something for everybody, and for every budget. My son has been wanting a desktop for his room. He wanted something he could use for school work and for light streaming purposes. So, I came across the ASUS - V440 and picthed the idea to him. Needless to say, he liked it, so we went for it. The ASUS - V440 was the perfect desktop for my son. He really loves the touch-screen feature on it. I have an older ASUS desktop model that is similiar to this, and yes...the touchscreen feature is a MUST!!! It is very responsive and accurate. This makes navigating through tasks SO MUCH easier. It really is a great feature to have when you get tired of using your mouse. As for performance, the ASUS - V440 desktop is by no means a gaming desktop, so don't get your hopes up. You can do some light gaming on it, but nothing too intense. This is more of a school work and light streaimng desktop, which was just what my son wanted. The graphics are great and the performance has been great, for the price. If you are looking for a new desktop, definitely consider he ASUS - V440.
