    Maybe it's defective?

    I hate this monitor so much, after a week I got my old Asus out and hooked it back up. The text is so bad (there is some kind of dark shadow to the right and what looks like missing pixels in the text) it gave me a headache to look at. It's impossible to get the color right. My picture looks great on the built in laptop monitor, but horrible on this monitor. Since we threw out the box, I can't send it back. I must have a defective one if everyone is giving it great reviews and I can't even look at it.

    Good resolution

    The monitor has a good resolution and nice colors. The only problem is that sometimes the screen lost connection and you have to unplug it to get the image back.

    The Monitor Is pretty good and comes with a lot of useful features, but for this price I would recommend buying something with a higher refresh rate.

    not as crisp as others

    Bought this during Covid for work at home. Returned it as it just did not look as good as I had hoped. Went with an HP VH240a instead and really like it.

    bad pixels after only a few months

    I bought my monitor in March, 2020 so I can work from home. In May or June I noticed a line of red pixels down the left side of my screen. I tolerated that, rather than trying to get it fixed, as I need my monitor to do my job, and can't be sending it off somewhere to be repaired. Now, there is a single green pixel in the middle of the screen, in addition to the red line. How can I get this fixed? I can't not have a computer screen, I need to do my job... very disappointed to pay almost $200 and have it not even last a year without issue. I feel stuck because I can't send it anywhere and be without a screen when I need it 9-5, Mon-Fri.

    Okay monitor, although I'm not blown away by the picture quality. I have an older curved 27" samsung monitor that looks alot better for gaming.

    Love the picture, clear and crisp, but the SmartLogic or whatever to set the TV up is terrible! Spent over 2 hours on the phone with 3 different techs after I already wasted an hour working on it by myself. Finally had to use my old DVD player to get on the home WiFi just to access Netflix and the rest. Don't buy this unless you have extra equipment laying around because even the manufacturer's techs who come in the back door to diagnose it cannot figure it out.

    Not impressed. The colors are washed out and not vivid. I changed many settings, but I could never get the picture quality to even decent. I bought this in a pinch, so I don't have the time to return it. If I had time, I would have returned it and bought something different. I buy A LOT of monitors. I just had never purchased this model. VERY VERY unimpressed.

      It's regrettable to hear you've encountered issues with the color not vivid. This must be frustrating, please attempt these steps:

      Reduce resolution to find the best resolution for picture
      go to monitor's OSD -> adjust contrast and brightness until the picture looks great
      Calibrate monitor using WIndows' color calibration for best picture
      Got to monitor's OSD -> GameVisual -> Scenary Mode or sRGB mode

    Green dots on screen right out of box

    I bought this monitor, it was damaged right out of the box and had green dots on screen. I tried the green dot removal steps but nothing work so I returned it. I went for the other ASUS 24” 144hz monitor that’s roughly $279.99. The brightness of the other monitor is better, color is slightly better and viewing angles seem better. Also has slightly better speakers and more premium built compared this cheaply built monitor. Although my friend has this monitor and had no problems with his. So I can only recommend this if you really want something really affordable. I would give it at least 3 stars but having defects upon opening the box isn’t except able

    The monitor was great for a little, but a month into simple use, 3 dead pixels appeared. After like a month or so, 2 more dead pixels appeared. My current use with this product has been a terrible experience. I'm sitting with this product with at least 8 big dead pixels scattered throughout the screen. Asus has gotten a bad repetition for their products, and I see why. Do not buy this monitor if you're looking for long term use. AND IT WASN'T EVEN AT 144hz,
