Two bad pixels

I only bought this monitor in May and two pixels are messed up. One will turn blue and another red. This started a month - month and a half ago.
If I move the monitor around they sometimes revert back to normal but I shouldn’t have to do that. I’m aware there’s something to be said for the panel lottery but I’ve seen similar reviews and I can’t recommend buying this monitor.
If it weren’t for the lack of quality control I would give this monitor at least 4 stars for its value and features.

I bought this brand new. I can’t complain with the monitor and other cable stuff the came with it except the HDMI cable. Unfortunately, my laptop has only HDMI port for an extended monitor. I thought ASUS monitor wasn’t working until I use another HDMI cable of my dad’s to find the real issue.

I bought this to use as a vertical monitor and I'm not impressed. Maybe I assumed because it had the word 'gaming' and 'Asus' attached to it, it would be good quality. My 4 yr old insignia TV looks far better by comparison. The blacks look gray, and depending on the angle it's sitting at, there are certain areas that aren't clearly visible and reflect light The colors look bland. It looks like one of the old monitors and the resolution looks like 720p. I returned it and bought a smaller Insignia TV and desktop mount which, combined, ended up costing less that the monitor. I wouldn't recommend it and it's definitely not worth the price

I paid $170 for this "open box" monitor. I can see why someone returned it. The images on the screen are so far from sharp as to be unusable. Zoom images are terrible. Regular documents aren't clear. I don't game, but can't imagine anyone being able to do that on this screen. The description said "open box excellent" but I don't know what they were referring to. It arrived at my door with a town up box and everything thrown inside as if it were going into the trash. I wish I could return it. It sat here unused on my desk as I left town for a couple of months. Wish I had figured out it was such low quality before I left town. Perhaps Best Buy will read this and take it back....
