The screen just suddenly froze. It stopped moving and I have to turn off the power, when I try to turn on the computer, the screen just don't turn on and I have to try it multiple times, the longest time that it took is about an hour.

I was in the market for a new monitor to hook up to my XB1X. I am an avid FPS player and the monitor I was using was old and didn't have a fast response and refresh rate. I was looking specifically for a TN monitor with 1ms that was higher than 60hz. I didn't mind if it was FHD or QHD, as at 24 inches you're eye won't really tell the difference; especially on a TN panel. I have a 4k tv for casual gaming. I came across this and decided to give it a shot. There was a 144hz model that was roughly $120 more than this one, but 75hz is more than enough for console gaming.
So far I am very satisfied with this monitor. I'll list my pros and cons.
Pros:
- Sleek and beautiful design
- Feature packed: FPS counters, Cross hairs, tons of picture settings, blue light filtering, tracer settings, etc.
- Nice adjustment screen. Tilts, rotates, and has a good low to high height.
- TN panel with surprisingly high detail. Very fast, no color tearing, motion blurring, or ghosting.
Cons:
- No handbook for learning all the buttons and menu options
- Viewing angle isn't the best, but you should in front regardless so it won't matter
- Avoid the built in game modes, you can tweak the picture yourself to make it much much better.
- Speakers aren't at all impressive, but I use headphones so it's not at all an issue for me.
That's really it. Overall it's fantastic. I am very impressed with this monitor.
Here are my recommended setting for gaming:
- Use the scenery picture setting, turn the contrast down to 75, put trace free on 80, avoid using vivid pixels. That's generally it.

I was new to PC gaming, so I was looking for something simple and practical when I found this ASUS monitor. It has good graphics, and I love that it has a built in speaker! With VGA and HDMI options, along with the built in speaker, it makes it great for traveling too! I can bring my Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch with me on the trip, hook it up to the monitor, and play away! Keep in mind that since it is a built in speaker, the sound quality is not outstanding, but if your a simple gamer like me who doesn’t play a lot of sound intensive games, then this ASUS monitor does the job.

Asus customer service is the worst. I will never buy another Asus product because of it. The monitor is actually ok but hard too install and calibration has been impossible . The pdf user guide is not helpful and after 3 hrs on 2 different calls to support- I am completely frustrated.

Don't buy a computer monitor at a TV Store

After less than one month the monitor lost clarity. Mouse movement would leave tails and letters had shadows. Best Buy would not exchange or even store store credit. They said I had to ship back to the manufacturer.

When i first got the monitor it was terrible the quality was terrible and only ran up to 60Hrz when it was supposed to run up to 75 which was disappointing it was easy to use but very poor quality
