The ASUS VG245H offers decent performance for casual gaming with its 1ms response time and FreeSync capability. The dual HDMI is convenient, but the color accuracy and contrast could be better. It's a solid choice for budget-conscious gamers, not for color-critical work.

I Purchased this monitor open box the other day when it was on sale. I have it hooked up to my 14-inch Razer Blade and the picture is pretty awesome. The only customization I really did was turn the brightness down as it was hurting my eyes. The built in speakers are a nice addition and aren't that bad but I do have external speakers (Logitech) hooked up instead. However there are no volume controls on the monitor itself, at least I haven't been able to figure it out. So if you are going to hook up something other then a computer to this and you aren't using a headset I would purchase speakers so you can turn the volume up and down easier.

definitely a good monitor, the only issue is once dirt gets on it... you can sometimes find yourself struggling to get the smudges off. even if you use the proper cleaning rags and stuff like that.

I have this paired up with a rx 580 and it's perfect. I could easily see the difference in gaming and the overall adjustment of the monitor is great.

Ok first off let me talk about using this for console gaming.I only have a non ps4 pro, ps3, and a wii u.These are the consoles that i used on the monitor.Each of them worked fine and great however on the consoles with the freesync didnt do much of anything as there was almost too many screen tearing using a freesync monitor, however the consoles i was using were last gen consoles and a non ps4 pro so that is to be expected.Also as to be expected i was not able to use any of the 75hz of the monitor totally was expecting that so if you were looking to buy this monitor for the 75hz and freesync on console i suggest you look else where.If you were wondering what games i played on console using the monitor i played Warframe, Dragonball xenoverse , Call Of Duty 3, Sleeping Dogs on both ps4 and ps3, Mortal Kombat X and Mortal Kombat 9, Injustice 1, And Mario 3D world on wii u.Thats all i have to say for consoles on this monitor.Now on PC my specs being RX 580 4gb, a ryzen 2600, and 12gbddr4 ram.I got this monitor with the PC just in case you were wondering, anyway this monitor works absolutely great on PC i even managed to overclock the resolution to 4k and managed to overclock the hz to 76hz looks absolutely great and feels absolutely great however freesync doesnt work as well as i would like it to work but thats fine. It really is an awesome monitor for gaming hell it could even be used as a tv once a cable is connected throughout a hdmi cable although i dont know if its my monitor but audio wont display but who really cares about tv im sure youre looking to buy this beast to play some games on it am i right? and yes tv is able to be played with the 75hz well at least for me it does but it doesnt look that pretty using it for tv.My setting for it is Racing Mode Blue light filter on level 0 Brightness on 0 (this monitor is supper bright in my opinion, i leave it on at 0% brightness) Contrast on 73 Color Temp on user mode and smart view off Trace Free on 60 Aspect control on full VividPixel on 0 and freesync on.In conclusion i recommend this to a friend and would recommend this to anyone who is in need for a monitor 10/10 would play Mario 3D world again.

I bought this for my PS4 slim. I strictly play fortnite. It’s so insanely clear. I went from a 40” Samsung to this 24” Asus. It was hard on the eyes at first. I can’t sit how I was sitting. However. I won my first game of fortnite I played on it. I love this. Very worth it. 10/10. If you’ve been sceptical. Stop it and buy it now. It will change your gaming life. Not to mention being able to raise it and lower it and tilt it back and forth to find the perfect angle. Amazing product.

To me, the most important thing about a monitor is color range. I want to appreciate photos and art in its full range of color, and experience games with the most immersion. Monitors that are greyed and washed out, or backlit far too much disrupt that, and hurt my eyes. First things first, you will not like this monitor if: - You hate significant bezels - You do not like matte displays - You prefer a more tablet-like screen - You do not like the color near the orange spectrum This screen is really fast, no tearing or refresh problems to be seen. It is easily the best monitor in the house, and we have 3 computers with at least 2 monitors on each, so that is saying something. The color range reminds me of HDR on a TV. I noticed theres a bit of a bias towards orange and red colors, so if you don't like that, just lower the reds down a tiny amount and you should be good. The display is matte. So it is not shiny or glassy, or reflective. Since we have smart bulbs and lights on often, this is a good thing for me, because I hate seeing light reflections on a monitor. It makes it hard to see and disrupts gameplay. Some people may not like this, but I'm glad it is there.

This monitor is amazing and does a great job for its price. Excellent gaming experience so far!

This monitor has really clear graphics. So many options as far as flexibility in the tilt, height and angle, you can even flip the screen in tablet mode. Though, I’ve never had a reason to do that.. the speakers aren’t the best. At max volume it’s still very hard to hear and I’d definitely recommend purchasing separately if that’s a must.

Not bad for a budget monitor. Great 1080p monitor for a budget build. The image quality is good.
