For that reason I did not want anything too expensive. It runs smoothly and was able to download/run the software I needed. Would buy again.

I love the size of the screen, and the built-in number pad is actually really nice to have. Some people may think it’s unnecessary, but if you work with numbers, it comes in handy. I like that it’s integrated, so there’s no need for an external number pad. The performance is solid for an everyday laptop. Intel Iris graphics are okay for light strategy games and casual gaming. That said, the display ended up being a letdown. It’s very hard to find and maintain a viewing angle where the screen looks good. Unfortunately, because of this, I can’t really recommend it unless you mostly use the laptop connected to an external monitor.

I did what could be done to disable it. As a trackpad it gets -0 stars. Before buying, ASUS and BB told me extended warranty was available, after buying both said it was not eligible.

Please allow some time to get use on how to disable/enable the ingrated virtual NumberPad on the touchpad. Additionally, we certainly understand your dissatisfaction with customer service regarding the warranty extension misinformation. Not all ASUS laptops qualifies for this ASUS Premium Care. To confirm warranty extension eligibility, run the "MyASUS" utility software or application. If this is not pre-installed on the laptop, download the application at the Microsoft Store.
