Really a 5 EXCEPT the touchpad stopped working, and not even the Best Buy central Geek Squak could repair it (BB was great re return, refunc and exchange)--otherwise I really liked it--NOW haing said that, THIS one was a replacement for the one I bought before that had something wrong with it, can't remember what, but BB exchanged it and I had liked the laptop so much that that didn't dissuade me--NOW, that was with my suspicion to NOT buy it because it was a lesser (well at least alien to me) brand, but I took chance because the BB sales person was kind enough to get me in on a super bargain for it, NEW, not even refurbished or open box! and BONUS, Asus has very good customer suppport, free and no questions about when/where whereas HP makes it just about impossible--now talking about HP, THEIR REPAIR SHOP ACTUALLY BROKE 2 OF MY LAPTOPS and took 9 weeks [maybe they've gotten better on time by now-who knows-I stopped buying from them] (which at least they gave me upgrades both times for the ridiculous trouble they put me thru--the second time, they had, at 9 weeks, NOT EVEN REPAIRED IT and sent it back with a JAMMED ON OFF switch, rendering the computer unusable--as they say, you canNOT make this stuff up, and I"m not!! I also agree with an online eval of the higher end ASUS that the keyboard is a better layout than on an HP--one irritating thing about the touchpad on the ASUS is that it has a "switch to numeric" feature which I had to disable on the two different laptops because it kept reverting to that when I only wanted the touchpad--fortunately, they have a simple disable solution for that

Love this laptop alot! Picked this guy up on sale for $230 and added a 16gb stick of ram + swapped the ssd to a 2tb to make this laptop a word processing beast that is powering me through grad school!

I bought the cheapest laptop Bestbuy had and to my surprise it works as well as my more expensive PC What a great laptop!

Great computer, i 3 core processor is awesome along with the windows operating system. Only thibg that borhers me is that the screen is matte/non reflective, my eyes hust arent used to a non reflective screen

Great value, high performing...good charge life. Very pleased.

I like it because it is simple but it has everything I need, although I can play with it if I want, the reality is that I want it to study, watch a movie from time to time, and work From school and many video calls and she is perfect at that. If you are a computer genius, don't buy it, but if it is for basic but important things, it is perfect.

Light weight with good speed and response. Perfect for web tasks, email, and light office applications.

Love this laptop. Lightweight and fast. The special 10-key on the touchpad is interesting. Just like anything new, it takes a little getting used to. But convenient to have it there!

This Asus laptop was recommended by a best buy geek squad employee. I bought this to do some Minor tuning on vehicles. The laptop is very fast, small and light. Great graphics and it makes the process’s way smoother. Great battery life too

Good laptop for general computer use and internet browsing!

Very powerful and compact! Meets my needs and expectations. Battery is sufficient, but even on battery energy saving mode it still drains fast. Overall a nice laptop!

One, this is due to MY specific wants: 1. The laptop is non touch, and has no backlit keyboard. If it had one but not the other I would have been ok. But it lacked both and that was a deal breaker for me. 2. To me, the brightness wasn't that great either. However, as stated previously this review is based on what I wanted rather than how the laptop actually is. Having said these things, it runs well, it connects to wifi easily and the design is quite nice. It has a nice weight and it's not too delicate. If this is for basic computer function this laptop is good to have.

As someone who has used Apple and Window products alike, this laptop is very good if you’re on the search with a budget. This laptop is not heavy, a little heavier than an M2 2022 Macbook Air, but my only issue has been the FHD screen. Personally the screen is different from what I’m used to so it’s down to personal preference regarding screen resolutions. Otherwise, pretty good and offers a decent battery life. Not really good for gaming except casual things, and not the best CPU if you’re looking for one to handle a lot.

I loved the small size of the computer and the interface and it was very speedy for most of the tasks I wanted including playing games that dont have graphics that are too high (if you're looking for a computer that can run a game like Minecraft this is great but if you want one where it can run a game like Grounded well, this device is not for you, but its what you get for a computer this price). My main issue with this laptop was that the battery life was really bad. I could barely get 3 hours out of it before I would need to plug it in again. So everything else about this computer I liked a lot, but the battery life is what got me to return it.

It's a great value! small size, upgradable ram and SSD.
