To be quite honest though, I find that this laptop has more cons than pros, though in my case this was still way better than my ancient pc that this replaced. First off, the product page mentions that the display is an LED backlit screen however the viewing angles and brightness resemble that of an LCD screen. The laptop only comes with 8GB of memory which is not a whole lot nowadays, but can be easily upgraded with and extra 8 for a total of 16 which makes it run noticeably smoother. Getting into the device was very easy too with only a handful of philips head screws holding down the backplate and it just snaps off from there. I did notice however that there is an unused bit of space on the interior that seems to fit a SATA SSD, though I did not manage to find a port to plug one in to the motherboard, but it is odd that they just left that empty space inside that could have been used for extra battery. It might be a hold over from the chassis possibly being an older design that used a SATA SSD being resused for this build. The battery life is very poor and you'll find yourself having to plug in the charger after a couple hours, or less, depending on what tasks you're doing. The speakers are located underneath the laptop making audio sound muffled especially if you have it sitting on a soft surface like a bed. The intake fan is also on the bottom with only small rubber feet to lift up the laptop that will only help on a flat surface, so again you'll get restricted airflow if you have the device on anything but a flat surface. Overall the specs make this a hard sell when you could likely find much better for around the same price range. Might make a decent first laptop for a kid, but I can't recommend it otherwise as I only bought it since I caught it on sale and it was within my budget for a quick replacement for my pc needs and it worked for me.
