Best Buy notes that this laptop has a touch screen but it does not. This error is misleading and they don't appear to be making an effort to correct it. This error, intentional or not, and the limited return window leaves me with a laptop that has less functionality than I wanted. I am posting this so that is does not happen to you! As far as other laptop capability, it is too soon to judge, although the power button being right next to the delete and backspace keys makes me wonder if this could be an issue,

I witnessed the CPU temperature achieve 92°C, or 197°F. I do believe a thermal pad is being used, and not thermal paste, and not to mention, air is escaping underneath the ducting. Thirdly, the cooling design is poor.

We do understand your concern about thermal issues. It is normal that excessive heat is generated while under heavy load especially during gaming, WINDOWS Update and antivirus scan.
When system resource utilization is high, this will generate more heat than normal and tends to trigger the fan to spin at full-throttle. Please ensure the air ventilations are free from obstructions in order to have an efficient air flow for better heat dissipation. While gaming, please ensure no resource hungry applications are running in the background, this will definitely spike the temperature. The heat or temperature does decreases or normalizes once system resource utilization goes down.
