This is the best laptop you can get for the money. Coming from a Surface Pro 4 the vivobook is way more powerful. The core i5 will just eat through anything you throw at it. I can have an IDE, terminals, multiple tabs in chrome open, be watching videos and this thing does not slow down. If you can get it in sale it's ever better!

Overall really satisfied with this purchase. Works quickly with most simple things. Reloads after shutdown rapidly. Allows for surfing/streaming of most basic things. 2 small things that have irritated me. It seems to crash quite often when it gets a couple of things going at once. Not a big deal as it recovers most things well and reloads them, but would make me leery of doing a big presentation or paper on it (though I have done this). Second, when using the track pad, it can get a little erratic at times where it the mouse will just appear somewhere random on the screen and click on something totally different (for example, will be clicking to x out of a browser window and next thing you're clicking to open word). Overall though, really solid device for someone heading off to college or doing a little bit of work while still having the browsing capability to stream Netflix. would buy again

This is a great option if you’re looking for something that is lightweight. Battery life is spot on with 8-9 hours of use before needing to charge. Storage is low, but easily solved with using a flash drive or an external hard drive if you’re looking for a lot more space.

I wanted an inexpensive laptop with a good processor, descent memory, SSD, and nice screen size for under $500. I paid over 500; however, Best Buy put it on sale shortly after and they honored the sale price and refunded the difference! The VivoBook makes great use of the monitor real estate leaving very little unused. Feels like a much bigger screen. I have not had an issue opening tons of applications at once, many (too many) browsers with lots of tabs and documents. I am extremely pleased with the battery life. Can tote it around for days before needing to charge it up. This little laptop feels big in a good way. Keyboard is great. I have a full sized a wireless mouse and turned off the touch pad. I am very pleased.

I was looking for a laptop for internet browsing and paying bills online with occasional other uses. It’s fit that purpose perfectly. It’s lightweight and quiet and has a great screen. Great little laptop for this price point. I’m very happy with my purchase.

I love this laptop. It is super fast and is very comfortable. I am an Asus person all the way. I highly recommend this laptop. The only downside is the mouse gets suck when you are trying to move it on the screen. Other than that...I love this laptop.

I love my laptop because it’s portable and it’s boots up fast. It also charges fast and it keeps its charge for quite a while. I’m very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this laptop to a friend. The price is great too.

I love my VivoBook. I purchased last March and it is still working great. My only concern is the speakers are not great but I bought a bluetooth speaker and it works perfectly with my laptop.

This laptop has served me well. I use it for web browsing, streaming and office work and haven't had a problem. I like the campactness. Hardly notice when it's in my backpack.

I ordered this laptop as a replacement for a laptop I had for 3 years. the speed on this one is incredible!! makes doing my assignments super fast and it’s also very easy to take with me to school!!

This laptop is small, light and feels GREAT in your hands! The keyboard has a nice feel and the form factor looks STUNNING! Nice work ASUS! I would buy this again and would highly recommend it.

I purchased this for taking online classes and I am absolutely thrilled with this laptop. It has a great display and is fast,lightweight and easily portable. Great value and affordable.

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to figure out this new vivobook, but I have not had any problems yet. I still need to play around with it more but am very pleased with it so far.

I had a very large 15" lap top and needed something smaller. I am happy with my purchase. It is just the right size, feels good, keys are easy to work with.

Boots up like lightning, fast, dependable, smart. Thought I'd be handicapped without the hd space, but a 500G flash drive took care of the problem. Love this little system!
