Good for the money

Performance wise the laptop works great for what it was bought for. I wouldn't do any heavy gaming on the laptop but for the reports and demos it was bought for it does fine. As a previous reviewer stated the keyboard not being backlit makes it hard to read the keys. I am disappointed in the build quality though, after a few days the touchpad has begun to stick and since this model is not carried in stores I can't just go exchange it.

Indeed, the laptop has a good specification and performance for its pricetag.
Certainly understand your disappointment with the quality of the product and the inconvenience this may have caused you. With the keyboard, not having a backlit, it is recommended to use the laptop in a well-illuminated workspace.
All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, the touchpad being sticky is a random problem.
Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage. Replacement or exchange is not provided.

Eventually they did, I'm pleased with the laptop.

It was fast enough for me to do zoom and still have numerous other programs. I don’t use for much heavy usage but I believe that it will handle it quite well if I should have a need for it.

It runs efficiently, has a really great screen size and charges quickly. I love the number keypad on the side as well as up top. The mouse is big and easy to operate.

It was my first laptop and was definitely the best purchase I have ever made.

Only con I would take out of this is the soldiering of onboard ram. But they do allow another ram slot to add more memory.

My children love it and I get a chance to use it every once in a while.
