The processor is excellent with 4 cores, however, the ram is pretty bad. I realized when I hadn’t even installed anything, 70 percent of ram had already been used. The fan is also pretty loud when playing light games such as Minecraft. The display is also GOD AWFUL with horrible viewing angles. It seems like a bargain, but it’s at such a discount for a reason.

Do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused you if the laptop didn't meet your expectatons.
On the contrary, lots of satisfied customers, having positive experience using the product, will agree with me that it is a decent system that is perfect for running light or causl gaming and popular computing applications, without compromising system stability and performance, just ensure Windows is up to date.
High RAM or memory utilization usually occur when the laptop is under heavy load during WINDOWS Update, gaming or while antivirus scan, or malware are running in the background. This will also trigger the fan to spin at full throttle. To resolve the issue, try doing a full system scan using an internet security, or an antivirus software to get rid of malware, just in case the system was compromised. If WINDOWS Update or antivirus is running in the background, do not run any applications. Since these applications utilize lots of system resources, the laptop will become unresponsive or slow whiles are running. Also, please make sure cumulative WINDOWS Updates are being installed periodically in order to maintain optimum speed and performance.
The screen or display resolution is Full HD, and adjusting or customizing your preferences inside the Display Properties, or using ASUS Splendid utility, usually enhances viewing quality and experience. Also, ensure the video driver is up to date.
