Very good laptop, especially for the price. Got this for my wife. She is not using it for anything that would tax it from a performance standpoint so I can't speak to the processor on an Intel vs AMD perspective. It is primarily being used for MS Office applications and web/email access. It responds instantaneously relative to the older laptop she had so she is very pleased. Seems like a solid, well-made product.

Bought this laptop for my teenage son who is a freshman in HS. He loves the size and speed. Very mobile when he is on the run from one room to another. Plenty of storage for his work and says it’s great for when he’s gaming also. It has all the extras that he needs. I love the fact that I got it on sale.

Just worked out of the box. No real bloatware to remove. We had issues with two laptops related to wireless and this system has not seen that issue. Fast and powerful as a non-gaming system. Great audio and screen are nice. Only real downside is the keyboard with the gray on black can make it hard to find keys, especially the delete

Bought this on sale for an excellent price. The combination of 8GB of RAM plus a fast SSD drive with 512GB of storage makes it a great value for regular laptop users. The big Full-HD display is easier on the eyes than smaller computers like a Macbook. Vega 8 integrated graphics sufficient for most games. Only complaint is that the design is plastic.

Great laptop. I got it on sale and was worried i would not like it but its a great budget laptop. I am able to game and do everyday things on it without it crashing on me. The fan is a little loud and the battery life could be better but for what i needed, this is a great buy.

Great Laptop for great price. Super fast boot and so far a solid machine. Very happy. If I had to have a gripe it would be I wish it had a back-lit keyboard and I wish the battery life was a little better. Other than those 2 things I would give it 5 stars.

Pros. Is not slow. Nice size. Works for Zoom Meeting or Work related tasks. Cons. The keyboard keys aren't exactly visible. Weird screen brightness.

Pretty happy with this laptop, especially since I got it at a huge discount going open box at Best Buy. Loved that there wasn't a bunch of crapware installed on the machine by default (except Windows, haha). That's such a nice break from getting a new system and it's just loaded with junk. The device is very light for how much computer power is packed in there. The ONLY reason I can't give five enthusiastic stars is that someone made a VERY poor decision to reconfigure the number keypad area into a totally non-standard configuration (decades of 10-key muscle memory down the drain). I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it's such a stupid design decision that I have actually wrestling with returning the laptop. If you're not going to be bothered by a non-standard 10-key, then I think this is a great deal.

this is a really good laptop at a great price. Only drawback is the keyboard....the lettering is almost identical to the color of the keys making it hard to see, and it doesnt light up. Someone wasnt thinking there, other wise great laptop for the money.

I bought this laptop to do my college work because my old laptop couldn't keep up. I love how fast this computer is and has so much storage. It runs online games really well too, have yet to try download games. I would highly recommend this laptop for school work or even leisure use.

I am a new Realtor so I wanted a new laptop. My old laptop was 15 years old and heavy and took about 7 minutes to boot up. My old laptop Had a bigger screen so I notice the smaller screen with this laptop. The main Thing I wanted was something not too expensive, fast and It was going to work. It does start up I Think it's something like 40 seconds. It also has auto shut off and the auto shut off is pretty cool. Say your working on something but you gotta run........Auto shut off kicks in and You can come back to what you were doing 5 hours later..Just hit the power button and all the stuff you had open will be there to work on. I jump on and off the laptop all the time So power hasn't been a big concern for me. I would say its about what I expected it to be.

Purchased this laptop for the specs, and the price that worked for me. Unfortunately I had returned this laptop twice. 1st, fan was so loud it sounded like an AM radio. 2nd, the screen had a red tint. The 3rd, it is working great. Unfortunately, ASUS online was not much help. On the 1st try, tried to help, but they could not figure out the problem. Their advice, take back to Best Buy for repair. This computer was days old. The second time, They just told me to reboot from factory settings. There was not much time spent to help me. Best Buy Geek squad was the best help, and gave the best advice. Both ASUS techs not helpful, and were not caring to help fix a problem. ASUS had an OH WELL attitude. 4 stars because of below average tech service.

Purchased this in the middle of the Pandemic & The Global supply chain mess---- and received it in record time. Outstanding for BestBuy!--- Nearly 2 years and other than the loud noisy fan (of which my 2 year geek squad plan kicks in for a look over)---and the battery issue(it's never fully charged since day one)---other than--- I'm still shocked by how far SonicMaster sound system has come. It sounds better than most. I only wished the keys illuminated. In less than 2 years the Rayzen 5 feels like a sluggish snail. Time for a Trade in.

Love this for speed, opening up fast, shutting down fast and its overall use.. The colors on the screen are too light, blah, hard to gauge real color of anything. I use my laptops excessively and this is a problem . It was not real expensive $499, but I have others same price with much better screen quality. That is my only complaint but it is a big one for me.

Shoutout to Best Buy employee Marvin Chevalier for recommending me this laptop! I love how light this laptop is. Definitely great for work/school. Plus, you can still download and play some of your favorite games on here no problem. :)

Got this laptop for one of my teenagers. While they were previously only familiar with Apple products/laptops they are extremely pleased with how this ASUS performs for all school work, games etc. I also added a 1TB SSD drive to the available drive port for SFF drive type (had to buy the cable to connect - such a cheap item that I thought should really be included with the laptop when bought new so reason I only gave 4 and not 5 stars),

Good price for a good laptop. Setup was easy, it's fast and has sufficient space for anything we'd need to accomplish on it. Would recommend only if others would get as good a deal as we perceived we got or better.

The keyboard took a little getting used to, but I'm learning to like it. It powers up so fast, and does disk operations so fast that I'm able to do many things much quicker than even my desktop PC.

Perfect product for the price, in this price range there is no competitors, feels fast, but is does not feel sturdy, and the screen could be better, is not good with angles.
