This was an excellent purchase with an amazing price. The screen is a good size and the keyboard feels great, lights up and has a number pad. It's very fast and the battery lasts a long time.

An excellent laptop with many features of higher end machines. Back lite keyboard with black case excellent in all lighting conditions. Unit is fast the screen rendering is fantastic. Large enough memory and SSD to handle most if not all requirements. Excellent value for the cost.

Set it up for my aunt’s use, gotta say it felt good typing on it and the screen was really great. And with the ryen 7 it has with the 16gb ram multi tasking is a breeze. It’ll be a long time till she needs a new one for the awesome components it has for her general use like emailing, microsoft office, streaming etc. power button location is a little weird as it’s along the keyboard caps rather than being seperated but its not that bothersome or having it accidentally turned off. Overall great product from asus. 4/5 because of the power button location and its a finger print prone all over so having a microfiber towel helps.

I have been very happy with this laptop! It is fast, steady, and responsive. It has an excellent keyboard feel for typing. It also has the perfect lineup of ports for my needs. The screen is crisp and clear and the audio is enhanced for easy hearing of voices; especially nice for those of us getting older and starting to have difficulty pulling out voices from background noises. My first ASUS was still going strong after 12 years (Win7), and I expect this one to last just as long. I do have to agree with many, that the case does fingerprint easily and requires regular wiping.

I was looking for a laptop to meet my requirements and to be not very expensive. I know that Asus laptops are great, that's why I picked this one. Its productivity is actually great, battery life is amazing, it loads everything quickly. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend it. So far no issues, I am very happy with it. Also, the size and weight is great! It's light and at the same time big enough to watch a movie. I am using it mostly for studying, working and everyday use.

Very capable budget laptop for a low price. Great performance and processor speed with vivid, bright graphics

I’ve had this laptop for about a month now and it has not disappointed. The Ryzen 7 processor is fast and it has a good amount of ram and storage. I looked at a lot of laptops before buying this one and for the price it’s been an excellent choice. I’ve been using it for learning on sites like AWS, Hack the Box, and Try Hack Me and haven’t had any issues at all.

I am totally amazed by this computer. This is my second asus brand laptop and definitely won’t be the last. I have never owned anything nearly as fast. Also I like the lighted keys. The screen has brilliant colors with outstanding and precise clarity… I am so glad I chose the 16gb of ram . It seems to make all the difference… I love it..!

Disclaimer: This is my first new computer with Windows 11, so I'm not certain how much of my experience to attribute to the OS versus the hardware. The good: The display is good, the track pad is fine, the battery life has been better than I expected. The bad: Every time I tell it to " display recent files " in File Explorer, hit Apply, then OK to close the settings window, it reverts to the default settings. I've encountered other similar bugs changing other settings. The number pad layout is funky, with the power button moved inline with the keys. It would have been a better use of space to have a Home and End keys in the space occupied by Num Lk and power, and have the power key slid out of the keyboard area. I run Autohotkey keyboard shortcuts constantly, and they are highly unreliable on this machine. Even simple things like #N to launch Notepad++ or hotstrings like q123 to send the date fail frequently. Copying large files off a micro SD card usually fails, and can corrupt the memory card. Inkscape crashes frequently. If I could tell me-from-the-past to buy this or buy something else, I'd steer him elsewhere. This machine's install of Windows 11 feels entirely half-baked and rushed to market. End users shouldn't be the beta testers. I'm getting an external hard drive and backing everything up, then switching to Linux Mint

Great Laptop. Very light and amazed at how thin it is. Works as expected no issues so far. Lighted keyboard is very nice. Has enough connections to run all my external devices.

I have been loving this laptop so far. I bought it for college and I have not complain about it. Battery lasts forever, it’s fast and very light. I have not used the touch screen bc I don’t like fingerprints on the screen. It has Face ID to unlock it

Great laptop. Not really designed as a gaming laptop, but it can run many games with decent graphics. I use it for light software development and local AI hosting and it does well. The ports are set up well. And the price point when I bought it was very good. I'm fact, it was such good value that I bought two more for some family members. Only concern is that the adapter gets pretty hot.

Great laptop, works as expected. I use it primarily for work and school and I have zero issues with it not being able to handle the workload. Also has the ability to handle some basic gaming.

The computer works pretty much as expected. I have it connected via HDMI to a tv to occasionally stream movies on a larger screen but if the tv is on using antenna input the computer produces no sound. I must physically unplug the HDMI cable to get sound from the computer speakers. Computer speaker volume is low and the sound quality sounds tinny. Originally I started using a microsoft 5000 wireless mouse but found I had to unplug and replug the dongle everytime the computer was started. Since replacing it with a logitech mouse that's been solved. Battery life shows to be just under 5 hours and limits charging to 59%. In real use only using a browser on the internet it seems to drop faster than that as it's only a 3 cell battery. The backlight keyboard is nice but I found it's not always active. That may be another setting I haven't found yet. The computer came with next to nothing in the way of any paper documentation. A warranty booklet and a user guide booklet that shows the ports on 4 different models. The WIFI connection to the internet is good but there is no plug for a wired connection. This computer came with I think 4 free trials of different software and the offer of Office 365, none of which I want or use. I am no fan of Windows 11 but as support is ending for Win 10 I needed to update. I do miss not having a DVD RW and the card slot of my older computer so now I have two additional devices on the desk wired to it. I'm still slowly transferring files and programs from my older computer and getting this one set up for my needs.

Nice laptop that is lightweight and portable. It is important to note that while it has a powered USB-C, it is not a thunderbolt port and cannot support video output (despite BestBuy.com description). I was very disappointed by this because I was looking to run dual monitors through the HDMI and USB-C. However, I am happy with the product overall.

As every new electronic takes time to perfect and learn, the power and efficiency this laptop brings made it even smoother of a transition.

More than fast enough for the way it's used. Nice size, display, and audio quality. Long charge life is a plus.
