My fiance was using a 2012 Macbook Pro and it still worked well for what she uses it for, Apple stopped updating it and so Office wouldn't update anymore, she didn't want to spend the money for a new Macbook so I got her this and she really like it. It performs really well and the screen is nice.

I haven't tried running games on it yet, but it doesn't get hot after streaming for hours. It's lightweight, nicely sized, and the screen graphics have been decent. I'm all-in-all satisfied with this laptop.
