All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem.
Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

Can last for hours and can even last for more than 36 hours straight before it even threatens to do that computer fan, loud heavy breathing that we all hate. It is a heavier lap top but that comes with the size. Ive had for over three years and it still runs perfectly night after night. My only regret is that i didnt get the touch screen version because the screen is so big it makes you want to interact with it personally.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Not the laptop in the listing .....what it shipped is an m712da and what is listed is an x712da....same insides but the x is supposed to have a metal chasis and the backlit keyboard ...that the m does not have...arrhhhgg. and the wireless range performance is dismall. Tip to others to get a more suitable battery life you can lower the screen resolution. Tip to Best Buy ....get your left and right hands working together. Otherwise laptop is nice and zippy...benchmark decently on Novabench.....and the screen is beautiful. Nice keyboard easy to type...and I transfered my music to it (11,000 songs) in only 5 min. quite nice.

The bad thing that I thought this model was going to last and I recommended to my dad and he bought two more for my sisters, just recently before mine just died.

very bad display
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This computer can not display anything higher 1600 x 900. In other words it cannot do even 1080p videos. I assumed that this computer would be able to do this basic task considering it is so new, and has a decent amount of RAM and i5 tenth gen. What is weird is that online, the specs say this computer can do 1920 x 1080. That is a lie.
