Beautiful design, fantastic display and an extremely fast processor. I’m very pleased with this purchase. The only dislike is the small number pad and the short battery life.

I like the screen, the 12 meg of ram and the office 2019.

I was initially attracted to this device as a result of the slightly more than average ram and generous storage size. I figured, coupled with the notorious speed of the AMD Ryzen chip, this had to be a worth-while purchase. I was wrong. While this computer handled super light tasks well, it struggled to keep up when multitasking. And not heavy multitasking like 3D rendering combined with light simulation gaming or trading. The computer would black out randomly if I opened more that 3 chrome tabs. Yes, I am aware of the ram-chugging beast that the chrome browser can be, but three tabs?? That's minimum I would want to have open in any study session or for media consumption. This computer's fans immediately run upon startup and the trackpad is frustratingly clicky in a way that hinders it's overall use. If I wanted to use a mouse in my portable workstation, I would've spent this money on a desktop unit. And that's exactly what I ended up doing. I returned this unit within two weeks and will likely never consider buying an Asus again. I would like to note I purchased this "open box, excellent" so this may account for some of the issues it had. Regardless, this unit should not have been sold in the condition i revived it, though it was, outwardly, flawless. Overall, I can't recommend this laptop, nor can I recommend purchasing "open box" from Best Buy.

The description says this features a backlit keyboard. It does not

Not a bad laptop, just some bad features. Keyboard is very hard to see. Sounds at max is very low. besides that a excellent laptop.

Love it! awesome for streaming, and multi tasking. Would buy again. I do not care about a lit keyboard.

The laptop is terrific. The specs are amazing especially for the price. The laptop is solid for business and school use. The keyboard is crisp and responsive. The screen resolution is amazing. Everything just works terrific. No keyboard backlight (if important to you).

The laptop had been just what I needed. Much faster than previous laptop and has been great for zoom meetings and movies.

Solid, responsive keyboard. No lighted keyboard or finger print reader. Plenty fast for surfing and excel spreadsheets.

It is a nice laptop But the descripition is wrong it does not have a backlit keyboard or an 8 core processor

This computer is super speedy, comes with a great hard drive, plenty of ram, great feeling keyboard, and is super light but durable. I love it and who cares if the description says it's got a back lit keyboard. It's not a big deal at all as I've had two computers before this one that didn't have light up keyboards. It's not worth putting 1 star reviews over.

This laptop performs excellently while the charger is plugged in. The moment the charger is unplugged the screen dims to about a fifth or less of the brightness making it impossible to use the laptop as a portable device. I reluctantly returned it to Best Buy. This laptop will function well as a desktop, takes up little space on a desk, and much better value than some of the all-in-ones. I would recommend this as a desktop.

I mostly needed it for my digital art, so the Ryzen 7 works amazing! It's a huge, heavy laptop, but for the price, definitely worth it! Only con is the battery loses juice quickly, but for the programs and apps I run, it's expected.

Couldn't find a comparable computer anywhere near the sale price. Very nice computer with 17" screen and great value. Reserving quality review because I only have it up and running for one week. But so far, so good. "Like it"

Very quick processor, great display. Ryzen processor better than Intel, faster and cheaper. Only draw back is display has issues with video and blinks to black often. Has happened on two of these laptops.
