It's very stable. If you're looking for a gaming PC this is not the device to take. You will be better with a custom made desktop.

THIS TIME IT WAS A ASUS LAPTOP CLAIMING TO HAVE A BACKLIT KEYBOARD. NO!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS LAPTOP NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND BESTBUY. TROUBLE IS THIS TIME THE DEVICE WASN'T FOR ME, IT WAS FOR A FINE OLDER WOMAN WITH FAILING EYES THAT REALLY NEEDED A BACKLIT KEYBOARD. Certainly understand the inconvenience this may have caused you if the laptop didn't have a backlit keyboard.
The ASUS X712DA doesn't have a backlit keyboard and it was advertised not having this feature.

Should not even be in business of making computers

I bought this one because of specs and size, and I was extremely sad after opening the box. It seem to turn on, with no issues which gave me a rush of joy, but once I went to use it I noticed that when I was typing things out the “a” wasn’t showing. Turns out the “a” on the keyboard was not working. Also, every so often when browsing online there’s a lag. So sad, I really wish this thing would have worked. Asus, never again.

All ASUS products undergo intensive quality control testing and inspections, this is a random problem. Normally, ASUS provides one year warranty coverage, if product was purchased brand-new, in order to fix or repair any hardware or, part that stop working prematurely under normal usage.

Within a couple of months the wi-fi started acting up. Sometimes fast sometimes very, very slow. I finally gave up and switched to an external USB wi-fi. Initially the camera worked fine. In November, I discovered I could get an image on a zoom call. I worked for hours trying different recommendation to correct it, but nothing worked. In these days being without a camera for zoom and skype is frustrating.
