This has a full keyboard but the keys match the color of the base. So it can be difficult to see what you are typing if you are not familiar. Wasn't an issue for me but the keys also felt cheap which was my real issue. If you are looking for a 17 inch laptop this is a great price which was the selling point for me. It just felt like a lot of plastic and that isn't exactly what I was expecting to pay for.

I am using this laptop primarily for school and it serves that purpose well. The only drawback is the silver/gray letters on the silver keyboard makes them hard to see.

I really like the new computer. What I don’t like is the customer service when the mouse and the keyboard that came with it didn’t work. What I was told by the manager and then by the geek squad, which I have protection on it, told me before even checking it out that I might want to just buy another keypad and mouse. I don’t feel that I should have to buy another keyboard and mouse when it came with the package. They did get the keyboard to work but never did get the mouse to work. I just think it’s poor customer service when you have a product for only a few weeks and two things of the computer package Didn’t work.

I am impressed by the laptop. Price is right, and it does the job. Doesn't overheat or weigh a ton. Win10 runs like a charm, and so does the dinosaur Google Chrome.

The Start button is puzzling because it usually takes two clicks, like a delayed reaction, to begin. I have to wait quite awhile sometime for the computer to start. Is this normal? I wonder if it needs attention from the Geek Squad. The hesitation is questionable. I wish printed instructions were included for saving text files in order to print them later elsewhere from a memory stick. I would like instructions for saving on the hard drive too, and hooking up a printer. Print is too light on screen. Complete instructions should be given in hard copy, rather than abbreviated ones included.

Fast, high-quality computer in the budget price area. It's faster than I thought, but the screen is a bit of a disappointment. Not sorry at all I bought it.

The performance is good and it is cost efficient, But the grey letter of grey keyboard is the severe flaw. The product designer has to know that it is a fatal blunder.

This was the best large-screen laptop. I was able to easily transfer all my programs to the new laptop with no downtime. The only missing benefit is a lighted keyboard. It isn't an issue for me, however, if you are an unsure typist you may need a different laptop.

The ASUS - Vivobook laptop I bought was a fantastic deal. I really have to give credit to your salesperson, who convinced me that this was a "BEST BUY", compared to the one I originally had in mind. It has a bigger screen, more memory, and just looks great. Thank you BEST BUY!!!!

The laptop was on sale and it was well worth the cost. I had a Spectrum credit card that wasn't going through and your representative was able to resolve the issue. Otherwise I would not have been able to make the purchase. Great to see experienced technicians on the floor.

Runs smoothly, great value for the processing power and memory. The way the keys on the keyboard are painted/displayed are hard to see from certain angles as other people have mentioned, which should only be an issue if you have to look at the keyboard often to type.

Overall it is a decent laptop. Others complained about the color of the keyboard letters, which are hard to see, but once you get used to the keyboard layout it is not a big deal. It is fast to start thanks to the ssd and the set up was simple enough. However, for some reason, the network card seems to be slow. I have another laptop using the same network/modem/router and the access time and download speed seemed to be much faster. With the discount, it is a pretty good deal.

We ordered three items and one was lost in the mail, but Best Buy was very kind and helpful reordering it. Then the screen had a flaw in it internally so we ended up sending that back. I am unhappy with the ASUS - Vivobook Laptop computer. The color if very dull on the screen. I have been on the phone with the Best Buy tech team but have not been able to resolve it.

I purchase my laptop for a decent price but I believe the touchscreen would have been better And the sales lady was very helpful for me to pick out the right laptop for my online business and I can really appreciate that . But in all my experience was satisfying

keyboard is hard to read, silver on silver. If you like it, buy it. I just want my points and think it's stupid you have to make a review to get them.

Great !!! It responds well, doesn’t take forever to turn on from a cold start. I can use multiple screens at the same time. The internet comes up fast. I have plenty of storage space. I am happy with my purchase. I also purchased a warranty with my purchase.

I wanted to like this laptop so badly. I truly did. I loved the keyboard as I work at an at home call center so it was amazingly quiet. I loved the big screen and was so so happy. But.... I have to be direct connected by ethernet. But this doesn't have the correct port. I tried using an adapter. Both type C and regular. And I had to shut down my computer 4 times in one day.... I really wanted to like it. But as a working computer it fell painfully flat.

This laptop has a large screen and the metal frame feels great. The only problem is that the keyboard design is not very good, the letters are unclear.

for this being my 1st laptop ever im really enjoying, the screen is big enough and the keyboard as well. Im very happy with my laptop.

I like everything about the ASUS Laptop but the keyboard. It is hard to read. It is doing everything I am asking it to do and well.
