I rated it a 4 because it is difficult to read the silver keys with no backlight. Other than that it has performed better than expected. If you are working in a well lighted area this is not an issue.

When I first turned it on the set up screen was fine. Once I got it all set up, we couldn't see the screen that well. I adjusted some settings to make it more sharp, bit it affected the battery. Otherwise it was really nice and I wonder if I should have given it some more time before returning. I liked the fell of the keyboard and loved the precision mouse pad. I'm not really sure if I'd recommend to a friend or not because I don't think I gave it enough time before returning.

The screen resolution is HD, adjusting the brightness level, using the hotkey, usually enhances viewing quality. Also, ensure Windows and the video driver is current.
