    Don't buy device has operating system defect. The tech support wants to charge me for repair. I was scammed twice, first device defective 2nd service plan doesn't cover a basic diagnosis. Don't fall victim!!!! ASUS SUCKS.

    this computer broke down after 1 week. best buy has had this item for the last 4 weeks trying to repair it. I would buy a different computer and from another company if i knew this was going to happen.

    I had to return it in less than a week because the display was so pale that I could hardly read anything. I liked a lot of features but what do I do with them if I can’t enjoy vivid color?

      The screen resolution is HD+ with a 1600 X 900 resolution. Adjusting or customizing preferences inside the Display properties usually enhances viewing quality. Also, ensure Windows and the video driver are up to date

    Worst computer ever! Want load properly, it’s like it freezes and say wait, and all I did wait, after trying for 30 mins it open up. I hate I bought it.

    Great product for the price

    This laptop is very easy to use, and has great graphics. It runs every game I have tried without lags (minecraft, apex legends, sims 4). The only con I have notices is the keys are hard to read at certain angles. You'll definteily need a light on when using them.

    Gray on silver is difficult to see on the keys

    We have really enjoyed our Asus laptops. I did buy stickers for the keys as it was gray on Silver so that we could see them better. But the laptops are still going strong after three and a half years.

    Worked great at first. Speed, accuracy, quick, did exactly what it was supposed to do. But then set unused for over a year. When started back up the thing died. Best buy told me it was the motherboard and was basically trash. Never had a computer crap out on me in such a short time with so little use before. All I have now is a really expensive paperweight

    I love this chromebook. It’s my first one, I’ve always had Mac or PC laptops before. So far it’s been fine for my needs. I loooove how fast it is, especially after my clunky and slow old HP. I use it to mainly to internet and record yoga videos to post on my YouTube. There are a couple editing apps in the Google store that work fine. So far, I only use it in tablet form to play Among Us, it’s so lightweight it’s no problem to use it normally as a laptop. The keys feel SO GOOD. They are kind of textured but still smooth....it’s a pleasure to type on them. I personally have zero problem seeing the letters. I usually just have the backlight off but it’s extremely easy to turn it up and down by pressing alt + the brightness key. Also noteworthy is the screen. Wow it is crisp and goes so close to the edges. It’s beautiful. The speakers sound great, also. I don’t find it hard to open, it feels just as secure as my old laptops and my kids school chromebooks so I don’t find that a problem at all. Negatives? If I had to nitpick something... Only one USB port. It does have two “USB-c“ ports but I have no idea what those are for. I haven’t used the microSD card slot for anything but it’s cool to have another storage option. This is a sturdy, high-quality chromebook I’d definitely recommend it! I’m enjoying it very much.

    Great laptop overall. I like its functions. After 2 years, it began closing down programs automatically without reason. I used it daily as an online teacher. Worked great with zoom.

    5 Star review pulled down by a defect or design flaw. First the good: The AMD Ryzen 7 12GB AMD Radeon Vega 10 SSD provides great startup speeds and seamless multitasking. I don't game but streaming is a great experience. The size and and over all ability at the price made this my favorite computer until 3 weeks ago when my screen broke. The computer did not fall and nothing hit it, I simply was carrying it (hand on the right edge of the main body by the key board) with the screen open, and the slight pressure of my forearm cracked the screen. I heard a little pop noise and thought I stepped on something but when I placed it on my kitchen table the screen was broken. ASUS will not cover these issues under the one yr warranty and so I'm stuck. Another issue I found since the screen cracked was the the HDMI cable port is very finicky, I have to re-plug the cord multiple times often to get it to work. Furthermore trying to get it fixed by a third party while it's still under "warranty" is nearly impossible. I find it hard to recommend this product based on my experience but was close to writing a glowing report a month ago. If you like the specs and have a budget where this computer seems a good fit I recommend getting a screen protector.

    Good quality, but terrible keyboard

    It has good quality of materials, good performance and a good screen resolution. The only detail that bothers me is that I can't almost see the letters on the keyboard. I don't understand how this computer have silver letters on a silver keyboard
