Fresh out of box and could’t update windows 11

When it was delivered I plugged it in and let it go through it’s updates and it couldn’t update Windows 11. I tried twice and then called Asus who told me it only had four months of warranty left on it. Best buy charged me for a Brand new product but delivered an open box. I returned it to best buy who claimed there is no way that could happen. Final answer is I was not able to ever get the laptop to update so I returned it to the store… Very Unhappy with the outcome

Not good for general use

I was hoping this would be a decent work laptop, but it couldn’t even load its own settings menu. I thought it was a fluke so I restarted it and it still got stuck on this screen. Does not run Windows 10

I chose this model because it comes with a 12th Gen CPU (the current gen is 15) and uses DDR4 memory (the current gen is DDR5) so I figured it would be compatible with Win10. Wrong! Although the BIOS sees the built-in SSD, the Win10 installer does not. As far as I can tell, this laptop was designed with a new controller that the Win10 installer doesn't know about. I've tried all sorts of tricks and I've searched the net but cannot find a driver to make the SSD work so I'm stuck with this stupid laptop now since I'm outside the return window.

Powerless

Large screen, good batter, battery good, HDMI bad.

Nice large screen. Solidly built. A little slow despite 8GB RAM. No monitor or power through it's USB C port so the only options are wireless (spotty from 10' away) and HDMI which worked for 6 months then quit. Battery life is better than expected.
