I got this on clearance for my second grader to learn how to use a computer rather than her iPad. I paired it with a wireless mouse to help her learn how to navigate the computers used for testing at school. She was used to touch screens and has been having difficulty using a mouse.

Purchased as gift but was able to us for a week. Has good amount of memory and cd drive which is nicer than having to use external.

Slowest computer I have ever used! I wanted something to store my pictures and that is just about all it is good for. It takes too long to switch from one program to the next.

My son received this laptop as a Christmas present this past year. He went with me to the store and chose this laptop. Overall he likes this laptop so much. He was disappointed with an older HP laptop that died after a couple years. One of the main things he enjoys is the fast startup. It's a reasonably priced laptop that suits the needs of web surfing, email notification, downloading, and basic computer activities.

Got this for my girlfriend for college and she loves it. It does everything she needs it to do for her with her class work.

I bought this as an open-box purchase, which was a great deal for the specs, for a kid. It seemed like a great purchase at first, though it is a bit bulky (especially for a kid to tote around). The model we bought had a 5400RPM SATA HD, which seemed ok for the computing we'd be using it for, however, after about two weeks the computer wouldn't boot, and the hard drive was the culprit. We ended up returning and going for a ChromeBook style laptop instead. If I bought this again, I'd opt for the model with the Solid State drive, which I think would perform better, and be more durable, then the 5400 RPM version. With those specs, this is a great buy...otherwise, it has the potential to be a great PC, but seemed to be more delicate then I'd prefer.

Good laptop for a good price. Purchased for 13 year old son to have to surf internet and play games. Very good.

Good laptop for middle school. Works. Meets needs. My daughter has not had any performance issues or lag that was impactful.

The people up front in charge of handling the paper work related to this sale were clueless. That includes the clerk and her supervisor. It took me forever to get checked out.I was asked at least 3 times what my name and address were and 3 times what my email address was.
