    Good value for a student laptop - for reference we paid ~$650. The overall build quality feels decent, not too much OEM bloat on software and the performance is more than enough to smoothly run productivity apps like Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc. Re reliability Asus as a brand is ok but not great (I bought an Asus in 2020 that died <2 wks but BB replaced no questions asked!) so I purchased 2 extra years warranty through BB.

    Very fast and capable of medium graphic gaming, great RGB options for keyboard backlight and many software accessories to use. I like the onboard AI it seems to be about the same as ChatGPT and is way better than just using google. aluminum shel is pretty great and gives a durable look to it bit i did dent it a bit in the first month from a drop.
