I use it late at night on my lap while reclining in my chair. The backlighting is so bright along the edge of the keys I can't see the characters on the keys. If I turn the backlighting down, I can't see the keys. My MacBook Air does not have this problem. It illuminates the letters in the keys not along the edges of the keys. The other problem is the black finish on the laptop is a magnet for fingerprints. I have been buying computers since the Apple II and have never used a computer show fingerprints like this one.

However, laptop randomly goes to sleep and does not wake when pressing any buttons. It eventually comes back on, but is not reliable. Was not able to use and returned after a week.
