    Screen went out after 13 days. It was a great picture while the screen lasted. When we returned it we were told by I believe it was the Geek Squad manager that if the display hadn't stopped working he wouldn't have accepted it back because it had fingerprints all over it and supposedly a scratch on the back which we didn't see. This laptop sat on our kitchen table the whole time we had it so not sure how it would have been scratched and my husband repackaged it in the original packaging for return. Unfortunately, my husband has oily skin so he leaves fingerprints everywhere.

      We do understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing no video after 13 days of usage. If the laptop will not boot up or it's just black screen but the fan, please do the following: Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.     Someone at Asus needs to go back and test this thoroughly, starting with the paint finish. My god the fingerprints. It is a total fingerprint oil magnet. Who at Asus thought this was a good idea? Also, why does it shut down randomly while it's asleep? And the OLED display is horrid if you're sensitive to PWM because yes, it runs on it.

    Only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because it’s a beautiful laptop with amazing features and great storage. Bought this laptop less than 2 months ago. I have all my work on it. I closed my lap top, went to get coffee, came back and it’s off and will not turn back on. I have done everything to try and get it on. No it wasn’t dead and even if it was I tried charging it. It just completely stopped working for absolutely no reason. So yeah it’s a great laptop if you want to spend $1000 for it to work for maybe 60 days.

      Hard Reset
      1. Remove all external devices such as the AC adapter, USB devices, etc.
      2. Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds.
      3. Reconnect the AC adapter.
      4. Turn on the power of the device.
