Excellent. Great battery life, nice realistic high resolution display. Navigating the internet and watching youtube (mainly what I use it for) everything is very snappy/fast. Setup was easy. The keyboard feel is nice and the touchpad is pretty sleek. The small number pad to the right of the keyboard is a nice feature for a laptop.

Great laptop - beautiful display, powerful and fast. The sound is very good also - making this a great laptop for streaming video. The battery life is amazing - the laptop goes most of the day without requiring a charge. I haven't had any issue with compatibility yet - but I'm not really doing much gaming on it.

Best value and great build for the price point. It’s all aluminum body and great keyboard. The display is just fantastic for movies and workspace with the high resolution it offers! I’m very happy plus the Snap Dragon CPU is very responsive and the battery is awesome. Got about 15 hours on normal use!

I bought the Vivobook to replace my Surface Pro. The Asus is faster, has better graphics, better speakers, a much more stable touchpad, and a more comfortable keyboard. It's also lighter, with a considerably longer battery life. In other words, superior by all measures--except one.
The ARM processor in the Asus was supposed to be compatible with all older Windows 11 applications. To be fair, I was warned that there were a small number of older applications out there that simply won't run on a new ARM platform. So I would suggest checking out compatibility issues prior to purchase.

Lightweight, 4k content is excellent on the 120Hz display, 1080P is very good, but 720P is just average. Good brightness. The Snapdragon processor is fast. Great battery life and nice keyboard. However, fingerprint smudges show all over the case.

Great screen, great size, great feel of the keys. The backlight to the keyboard being any color on the color spectrum is a nice touch. It performs great and smooth while not even making sound from the fan. Rarely gets hot either, which is an under appreciated plus. I got this computer for work but i fell in love with so much i made it my personal daily driver and made my 13" Samsung Book2 Pro 360 obsolete. So i sold it and am not looking back! Highly recommended.

This Vivobook S 15. I have not had it that long but I have had it for a little while. It has a gorgeous screen. But I do somewhat prefer a 16:10 aspect ratio. Looking at the specs it has a well sized battery. I think it has good battery life but I haven't tested it yet. So far it seems powerful enough for my use. My use is simple enough that x86 native apps haven't been a requirement.
I wish I could upgrade the memory, and I would have liked if the Snapdragon X Plus supported linux. As I understand only the X Elite does. But I hope linux support comes eventually if not sooner.

The laptop was excellent for the 2 days it worked flawlessly. It's extremely fast, you NEVER hear the fan even while running CPU intensive apps, screen is beautiful, and it's extremely light for a 15-inch laptop. Games that are built for ARM run fantastically. I'm running a PS2 emulator in 1080p with texture packs and it runs flawlessly at 60fps with no fan noise. Unfortunately, games not built for ARM don't run great at all (which is most of them right now).
A few things that I'm not a fan of though. First, no touchscreen. At the regular $900 price point, competitors have touchscreens. I bought it during Black Friday so I can't complain for how much I spent. Secondly, speakers are bottom firing speakers. They sound great, but only when the laptop is on a table. They're pretty muffled if you use the laptop on a bed or any soft surface. If the laptop is on your lap, they sound pretty good but not as good as if the laptop is on a table. Lastly, there's no Play/Pause/Next/Previous media buttons. Beyond annoying for me. The fact that I have to download another software to do this in Spotify is sad.
Now for the "dud" part. Laptop still works, except that when I unplug it, there's a good chance that it'll just reboot. Every time I power it on from an off state, it'll start loading, reboot, run a disc check, and then load Windows. No idea what the problem is but it's annoying again.
Overall, I'm pretty picky and really like this laptop. Hoping Asus comes through and fixes mine so I don't have to return it.

Purchased this for my wife as a new work laptop. So far there's been no incompatibility issues with programs, it seems to emulate windows quite well for new/older programs even one from 1999. Heck I even loaded on Fusion 360 for fun and it ran it quite well, screen is amazing, when typing there's nice tactile feedback.
Speakers seem decent enough for a laptop and battery life lasted 14 hours under normal use for her (roughly).
It's hard to go wrong with this device

Everything that you read about this laptop is exactly as it is. The size is awesome. The weight is great. The battery life is awesome. The screen is bright if keyboard has a nice sensitivity and even the touchpad is nice. I was surprised that the power adapters smaller than some of the other power adapters that I've seen around, but that just makes it easier to travel with. I haven't really pushed this laptop yet, but I'm sure it should be fine. I am a little concerned that it might end up overheating if I were to push it, but we'll see when we get there.

Initially I was hesitant to purchase a laptop with an ARM64 CPU, but I'm totally won over.
I was concerned about software compatibility, but have found that all of my business applications have run without any problems. This includes the Microsoft 365 suite, Techsmith products (Camtasia and Snagit) and popular browsers (Chrome, FireFox and Edge).
It's not a gaming laptop (for example, it doesn't support Steam), but that's not the purpose of this machine.
As expected, the battery life of this laptop is amazing. I can easily work for 10+ hours without charging. The OLED display is awesome.
I'm a very happy customer!

Overall, an awesome laptop if you're mainly looking to have something on the go with a really nice screen and incredible battery life. Having a numberpad is also awesome in my book, if you're mainly looking to use online services such as google or the cloud. This thing is perfect. If you're trying to download a bunch of stuff, there are some programs and software that do not work on ARM.

I bought this ASUS laptop about a month and a half ago to replace my old one, and I couldn’t be happier with the upgrade. The battery life is fantastic—it lasts around 8 hours or more before I need to recharge, which is perfect for long work and study sessions without interruption.
One of the standout features is the video quality. On my first day using it, my manager immediately noticed how clear and crisp the video was during our virtual meeting, which was a pleasant surprise. The performance has been excellent for both work-related tasks and school projects..
I'm really glad I went with this ASUS instead of getting swayed into buying an MAC. If you’re looking for a solid, reliable laptop with great battery life and video quality, I highly recommend this one.

Fast system with great battery life. Had an issue where windows wouldnt boot properly and had to hard reset. Some software is just straight up not compatible or buggy. Great for people whos software is compatible pr works fine even under emulation (light users) for the 500-550$ price.

This is the best thing to happen to windows in years. The battery life is much better. It comes on just by opening the lid and it will say in suspend mode for over a week. I would recommend to anybody who is not worried about gaming.
