Cut rate CPU gimps performance

Battery life is around 10 to 13 hours, so not really MacBook level. The APU on the other hand, was an after thought, a cutdown 64 model (42), with a cutdown GPU. This presents a huge issue as it takes away CPU and GPU cores, leaving you with an overall average CPU that has more issues emulating X86 software and that’s unfortunate. Look at the MacBook Air, those things live up to the hype.

If you browse on-white web pages all day, this laptop isn't for you. If you want a great workhorse PC for working in Office or VS Code, this is a great machine but only if you enable the visual dark modes. WSL2 runs fast on this one.

Charging problem

The issue is that the back of the computer was not completely sealed. I brought it in and it was sealed and checked for any dust or problem with the board. Nothing was found and then it was returned to me. When I returned home it was dead and when I tried to charge it, it would not take a charge. Not wanting to risk any future problems I exchanged it for a different brand. It is possible that the issue could have been quickly resolved, but this was the second issue with a purchased laptop, so I did not want to risk it.

The first one I purchased from Best Buy about 8 years ago and it's still doing great. However, it was heavy and needed a battery and couldn't take windows 11. This new one is great. I give it 4 stars because I thought it was a touch screen and it isn't. It is very hard for me to adjust. Also, I changed the background screen from black to white but the latter is so dim I can barely see the screen. Help!.
