Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the VivoPC M32CD's speed and performance, particularly praising its solid-state drive and ample storage. Many appreciate its ease of use and reasonable price point. However, some users noted that the fan can be noisy at times, and that the power supply may require an upgrade for demanding applications. The dual hard drive configuration is also a frequently mentioned positive aspect.

Power Supply Motherboard shorted
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Well, after two years of having this PC, the motherboard shorted out! Cost $120 to find a replacement power supply motherboard. The PC was plugged into a surge protected outlet, so there was no reason it came from a surge of power. Highly recommend that you purchase an extended warranty with ASUS products!

A lot of power under the hood for a great price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An i7 processor, dual hard-drive and 12gb of ram for under $1000 is what caught my eye and after two weeks with this machine I can say I'm pleased. I bought the PC at $799 and Best Buy lowered the price to $699 a week later. Since I was in the two-week return policy time-frame, they refunded me the $100 balance so I'm even more satisfied with the price. Now to performance. If you're a super gamer, professional video editor or doing heavy design work this probably isn't the machine for you. As someone who does a little of all of these things, it's perfect. I've been working on building a game with Unity, doing 3D modeling in Sketchup, using the Adobe suite to edit video and playing a few older Steam games. Throughout all of this, I have seen few hiccups or crashes. I often have Unity and Sketchup open at the same time, editing models and importing them into Unity. While Unity and Sketchup are processing tasks I can still surf the web with minimal slow-down. I've also used the Xbox streaming App and am impressed that I can stream games in a Window while doing other tasks. The 128gb solid state hard drive means the machine starts up quickly and Windows 10 is very responsive. The 1tb drive for storage gives you a good place to store data that you don't necessarily need to access all the time. The main issue is size. After years of using the ultra-compact Mac Mini, this machine takes up a lot of real estate on my desk. Also the optical drive seems unnecessary. I don't plan on using discs, like, ever again. At the end of the day I'll probably try to put some more ram in the machine and get a video card but in the meantime, I am looking forward to working on various projects, playing games and surfing the net. Not a perfect machine, but I would definitely recommend it for the price.

Excellent value, amazing speed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, I'm not a gamer, but sometimes I really need my PC to start up super fast and perform various tasks without huffing and puffing I feel like this model is an excellent balance between cost and performance. The 1TB of storage is more than I'll ever need and the additional SSD makes it start super quickly and perform tasks at incredible speed. Overall, if you re not a gamer, this PC provides all the performance you'll ever need for work or school.

doesn't work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the first one due to the windows having a critical error and not loading. I called the help line number in the box and Asus said to send it in for repairs. This unit is brand new so I returned it to Best Buy. I ordered the same unit only to have the same problem. I then purchased a HP unit for almost the same price. Additionally, it had 4 more GB of memory, everything else this unit has and a silver finish. Sorry Asus I'm very disappointed in this unit.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.System failed 1 year and almost 2 month after purchase won’t boot up. Reported a problem with system clattering noise was told it was HD by geek squad but they wouldn’t pull or back up and transfer files to a new drive or computer. No it has failed completely won’t boot but had not been doing scheduled back ups.

Excellent PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this computer for about 2 weeks now. It was a really good deal for $699 and tax free. The 128GB SSD is really fast. I installed a SeaSonic M12ii 620 watt fully modular power supply (ATX 2.3, EPS 2.91, dual 12V rails, double ball bearing fan, 80 Plus Bronze, 5 year warranty) for about $46 after rebate with shipping. The power supply was a little tight because its fully modular. I had to take off the other side panel, remove the 4 screws on the DVD Optical drive so I could slide it forward in order to make installation of the PSU easier, then put everything back together. (if you install a new PSU, don't forget to press the metal tab down behind the AcBel PSU to remove it.) I also installed two Artic F9 PWN PST speed control 92mm case fans (front and rear) with Fluid Dynamic Bearing, for more airflow (6 year warranty). I plugged the fans together and then plugged them into the motherboard above the PCIE slot (motherboards allow 1 Amp for case fans, most fans are 0.15 to 0.17 amps, some are 0.33 amps each). The fans were $8 each with free shipping. After this I installed EVGA GTX 1050SC graphics card. The card costs me $109 and free shipping. I didn't have to install a new PSU for this graphics card, but I'm better off in the long run. I don't trust those cheap AcBel power supplies that come inside off the shelf computers. I am really enjoying the speed of this computer and plan on adding an additional 256GB SSD drive. The only draw back is the motherboard only supports 16GB of memory. Note: Plenty of youtube videos showing how to upgrade ASUS M32CD (same computer case). Don't forget to get a bag of medium and small zip ties at the dollar store for some wire management.

10 sec startup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fast PC. It was a very simple plug and play. Had no trouble loading software from old PC. The update were seamless (Windows !0), I was expecting the usual hours of update on startup, it took about a minute. My old programs (MS 2010 home) start instantly. This is a good buy. There is an occasional loud noise from time to time. It startled me at first, doesn't happen often.

Not a bad machine, Actually surprised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a good, quick pc.The 7th gen chip is nice. If you are not to heavy into gaming, this thing will get you through ANYTHING, I say that because you can game with it. But, not to heavy. Everything else, in my opinion...It flies.. I have 2 of them!

Great computer very fast
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought it today it's extremely fast and fun to use. I would by another one. It was extremely easy to setup and the speed is GREAT. The only issue I had was during initial setup it does not prompt you to reboot, so after you enter your information it sits there at a blank screen until rebooted.
