This computer is amazing for my school work, especially being in cybersecurity programs run smoothly and look super nice that OLED is the best. Battery life is fantastic and lasts long. Only downside is the screen its a bit small after all but not a huge deal breaker. I do need a tablet on the side for my school books because it’s hard to try to run two windows on this screen but nothing to cry about over.

I have a month since I bought it. I like the laptop. It is fast, and considering that I used a 17" one before, it worked well for me due to the quality of the image. I didn't have any problems and it worked well for me.

Got this laptop as an upgrade to run windows 11 and do office work on the go. It does this job well. The laptop is thin light and extremely easy on the battery. The USB charging means i can change it using a 65 watt usb charger. The oledxscreen makecgood for watching video as well.

Coil whine is an audible noise or buzzing sound that can come from electronic components like inductors, transformers, and capacitors when electrical current flows through them. My Zenbook is having coil whine near the CPU whenever it is processing something, like moving the mouse cursor or opening a program. It is much louder when the device is charging, and it is loudest when the device is sitting on a flat surface like a table or desk. There are some steps that can help reduce the noise. In the old control panel there is a screen called Power Options. Create a power plan and once you have done this, change plan settings. Change advanced power settings and set processor power management -> maximum processor state to 99%. Use the new power plan most of the time. When you want to edit videos or play a game, switch back to the default power plan which is called Balanced. If you use Linux, there are some programs that can also limit the power of the CPU so it doesn't get to use its full power. Regardless, when the device is under full load the fan will usually drown out the noise of the coil whine. Onto Linux, I am pleased to report that everything seems to work properly under Manjaro KDE with a little bit of fiddling. I tend to have the best luck with bleeding edge distros on brand new chipsets. I really like the laptop but there shouldn't be this much coil whine. I never had a laptop with this much. I'm very tempted to return it.

I've had it for more than a year and I have not experienced any issues. Laptop is very light and is good for my backpack. Laptop is not getting slower as the other laptops after a year or so.
