Keyboard and Speaker Issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am having issues with speaker at times, for which i have to restart, without knowing if the speaker will be fine next time. Also, there is issue with the keyboard. The @ and # are replaced by " and £, and there is jumbled keyboard output for various other input. Not Recommended. Waste of time, money, and effort. Not sure If I can exchange it, and get my project complete in time.

Asus Zenbook 14 OLED

I bought an Asus 2 years ago and the battery was good until the last couple of months. So, I wanted another Asus, but the battery life in this one is not good.

Takes an hour to "set up", with no options to skip
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I haven't had this laptop for long. In fact, I just turned it on for the first time. And yet, what feels like an hour (but is probably less than half) has already passed without me being able to use it. First of all, I was FORCED to sign in with or to create a Microsoft Account, and now I'm being forced to install a mandatory update that I had no option to put off for later, which is taking forever to download, install, and restart (though my internet is very good, so that's not the issue). And when it restarts from the update, that's basically an update within itself. I set up my previous laptop in a few minutes total, not a whole hour. I don't even care how the laptop itself performs, this stuff should not be mandatory.

Thank you for writing a comment for the product.
We certainly understand your disappointment and the inconvenience this may have caused if it took an hour to setup WINDOWS 11 successfully. The OS does required the laptop to have acccess to a working and stable internet connection and a Microsoft account in order to complete Windows 11 initial setup. If your internet connection has no issue, the delay may be related to the amount of OS update that is being applied to the system registry, or a network congestion or traffic from the Windows 11 update server may be causing it.
Normally, if a brand-new product was ordered and paid, WINDOWS activation process is automatic, after the initial WINDOWS setup completed and the laptop connected to the internet, since the SLC(Software License Code) is embedded in the BIOS. Entering a product key manually is not required, authentication or activation process is automatic, as mentioned. Please check with your seller if you were shipped with a brand new product,
