The ASUS - Zenbook 14 14" FHD+ OLED Touch Screen Laptop - Intel Core Ultra 7 - 16GB RAM - 512GB SSD - Jasper Gray is now the coveted laptop in my home. The feature that stands out the most is the OLED touch screen. I recently bought my first OLED TV and it is so crisp and clear that I will never buy anything but an OLED in the future. The picture on the laptop is exactly like my TV, and I can’t stop admiring how great the picture looks even on the smaller screen. The laptop is primarily being used during a typical school day and for homework if needed. When submitting assignments, it uploads super-fast and shows the preview of the work submitted very quickly, especially compared to the previous laptop I had that was also an ASUS. Battery life, without charging during use, lasts about 1.5 school days. Charging time is about 2.5 hours. For Roblox gaming it is very quick to load and does a good job of processing and keeping the picture clear even when I’m turning quickly. The keyboard is back-lit with the option of high, medium, low, or no light. The key strike is super satisfying and the response time is lightning fast. The weight of the laptop feels like a feather in my backpack compared to my old ASUS. Even the charger is lighter than the previous one. The speakers are well balanced and have great sound. On full blast it does not rattle or become distorted. It does not get overbearingly loud either. AI processing speed is very fast. For example, I like to use Gauth AI to check the accuracy of math problems. Processing before was about 8-10 seconds, now with this laptop it is usually 1-2 seconds. In general, the Intel AI boost speeds everything up and makes it more efficient. The Copilot App that comes on the computer has been very useful too. I have been enjoying the “practice a language” option on copilot. It’s been great because my Spanish is getting rusty since I don’t converse often enough, and this gives me the ability to converse and be corrected without embarrassment. Let’s not forget the ports. There is a USB-A, HDMI, Audio Jack, and two (USB-C) Thunderbolt 4 ports. This covers all the bases and provides complete functionality for standard use and/or presentations.

Amazing how far laptops have come. This ASUS rocks and just about does it all. Incredible what a laptop can do in such a small size. The laptop looks sleek and well designed. Materials are excellent quality. The keys feel great and the perfect tactile feel. Easy to type a letter or email. Smooth strokes. The screen on this laptop is amazing. The 14” OLED display has vivid color and it amazingly clear. Graphics look super bright and near perfect contrast. Text is easy to read and easy on the eyes. After an hour or more using the laptop, I had zero eye fatigue. The 14” screen is the perfect size for almost all uses. Whether reading emails or watching videos, the display does not disappoint. I found the speed of the computer to be more than adequate for anything I threw at it. It never noticed a hiccup at all. Whether watching videos, opening multiple windows, or light gaming, it powered through them all. The RAM is more than enough for almost any application. The Zenbook also has all the ports you’ll ever need. Whether a student, office worker, or use a laptop for general use such as email, word processing, watching videos, or light editing of photos and/or videos, this ASUS can handle it. The Intel Core 7 rocks. Very impressed. From the sleek looks, the overall design, to the beautiful display, this Zenbook is a winner. Highly recommended for almost any user. Hard to beat!

Honestly this Zenbook 14 is a really nice laptop, super light and easy to carry around and the OLED screen looks amazing, like way better than most laptops in this range. It feels premium and battery life is solid for daily stuff. That said, once you start doing heavier work the 16GB RAM and 512GB storage start to feel a bit tight, so it’s great for normal use but power users might hit limits quicker than expected. Overall I like it, just wish I went with a higher spec version.

So if you know what you want to use this for AHEAD of time when you purchase, you will be very pleased. This laptop is ideal for light, on-the-go, stuff in the backpack, work on the plane type work. It is very sleek, smooth, and the touchscreen element just adds to the appeal. The touchscreen is very responsive as well. It definitely FEELS premium and even though I already said it once, sleek is the best word to describe it. A few pros and cons: PROs -Backlit keyboard, very responsive - HD+ resolution - 1080p webcam (this is great camera quality) - very portable and lightweight (but not cheap and plastic-y) - 16GB RAM - 920 x 1200 OLED video! Great for streaming CONs - Battery life is ok but nothing special - about 12-16 hours average for me - Not ideal for any major gaming, and RAM can't be upgraded - Screen is 60hz - this is ok but could be better - More USB ports would be great Not many of the CONs are noticeable if you get this for basic on-the-go use. In that case, it is a cost efficient, smooth, and yes, sleek option that I would highly recommend!!

ASUS Power and Fast Wi-Fi 7!

I was attracted to this configuration on the new ASUS ZenBook 14 because of the fast and powerful Intel Ultra 7 chip and the fact it has Wi-Fi 7 which is what my home network runs on. I was super excited to test out the speeds and verified that even at a place quite a distance from the router it still would hit just below 1 gigabyte speed. This is the second laptop I have obtained from ASUS, and I have been impressed with the overall features and quality of the items used in the devices to produce an attractive product. I love that this one is FHD and has an OLED screen which really makes the colors stand out when streaming content at night. I am thrilled that this laptop came with Windows 11 which I use daily and that it has AI via CoPilot if you need to use it for various functions. I like that CoPilot 365 was preloaded on the laptop, and I signed into my Microsoft Office subscription and instantly could access documents I had been working on that were located on a different laptop. It has been a seamless experience for me since this has the latest software and I have not encountered any system issues or incompatibility crashes. The webcam is called the AISense Camera With Privacy Shutter and it looks great with 1080p for a FULL HD IR webcam with AiSense for swift face login, background blur, automatic framing and eye-tracking per the manufacturer material. I like that it also has one of the newer facial recognition security features called Windows Hello facial recognition which works great to protect your privacy with Microsoft Pluton encryption. The sound on the ZenBook 14 is also incredible. I loved how they used Harman Kardon and Dolby Atmos to make spatial audio songs really stand out. I kept tweaking my settings until I found one that was not too distracting during work but then I would crank it up after work while streaming my favorites entertainment apps. The keyboard is easy to navigate, and I really like that you can change the backlit keys intensity or change the brightness on the OLED screen to the preferred settings. The touchpad came with a temporary overlay so you could learn the special navigation shortcuts available from side-to-side, up and down, the sound up or down, along with the brightness up or down. I am pleased with how user friendly the laptop is with everything ASUS configured on it. I love that it comes with a 500SSD hard drive but also has some various trial offers for programs like Dropbox where you get 6 months of storage for free which helps if you need to keep extra info in the cloud versus just one of your laptops or smartphones. One last free feature to point out is that if you register your laptop with ASUS, you receive one year coverage of complimentary Accidental Damage Protection (ADP). I was excited that the laptop had the first year of protection just in case something happens to mine because I want to make sure everything is protected. I would recommend this laptop to my friends and family because of its all-around power and versatility at a competitive price.

This review is for the ASUS Zenbook 14 UX3405CA, touch screen - 14 inch OLED - Intel core ultra 7 255H - 512G SSD - 16GB RAM - Windows 11 Home Unboxing the laptop - it was nicely packaged and protected. The first thing that stood out was the color of the laptop is called Jasper gray, its similar to gunmetal color matte finish so you don’t have to worry about fingerprints or scratches. Out of the box it had charge and enough for me to set up new laptop. The set up was very easy and walked me through the entire process as with everything electronic I’m glad they somewhat standardized the process so everything is the same regardless of brand. During set up I did experience about 5 dropped WiFi connections which I initially thought it was the laptop WiFi card but after troubleshooting it was a small area in my office that contributed to the drops. When I moved the laptop to another area I didn’t experience anymore drops. It was frustrating because I had to repeat the WiFi set up 5 times. As for connectivity after I got through the WiFi issues everything else was a breeze. I am used to using PC laptops for work so it was a good thing because it allowed me to navigate easily. First impressions the case was very nice, the color and material very solid feeling and didn’t feel cheap. The weight was amazing, I love how light it was and portable for a 14 inch laptop. Very thin and the best part is the power cord was also small and lightweight. The lighted keyboard was a must and it was bright in low light, the screen was also bright at its brightest setting. When I was typing the keyboard was solid however it had a plastic sound to it when typing. Not a deal breaker because it was solid, tactile and responsive. It would have been nice if it was quieter when typing but again not a deal breaker because the keys did not feel cheap. Display was very clear and the colors are vibrant, I didn’t have to adjust anything. I had multiple tabs opened, excel, and word open and didn’t have any issues with speed. This is a good buy laptop. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop if you are looking for a lightweight, portable and solid 14 inch laptop. The price point is reasonable considering the specs are very solid. Also, its pretty fast for productivity and business use.

    REVIEW OF MY COMPUTER

After using this laptop for the past month, I am thoroughly impressed. It strikes the perfect balance between performance, portability, and build quality. The Good: · Performance: It handles my daily workload effortlessly—dozens of browser tabs, 4K video streaming, office applications, and even light photo editing. It hasn't slowed down or frozen once. · Display: The 13.3" touchscreen is bright, sharp, and vibrant. It's a pleasure for both work and entertainment. · Portability: It's incredibly lightweight and thin. I can take it anywhere in my bag without noticing the weight. The battery easily lasts me a full day of mixed use (8+ hours), which is outstanding. · Design & Build: The aluminum chassis feels premium and sturdy. The keyboard is comfortable for long typing sessions, and the trackpad is precise and responsive. Things to Note: · Given its slim profile, it has limited ports (primarily USB-C). I needed a simple adapter to connect my older USB-A and HDMI devices, which is common for modern ultrabooks. Verdict: If you're looking for a powerful, reliable, and truly portable laptop, this is an exceptional choice. It offers excellent value for its quality and feature set. I highly recommend it for students, professionals, or anyone in need of a versatile daily driver. It has exceeded all my expectations.

I've been looking for a new laptop for a while and happened to find this while looking for something else. It has all the specs I was looking for at a lower price than I was expecting to pay. Plenty of processor/RAM/SSD for what I need, lightweight, and OLED video. Can't go wrong w/ ASUS, would definitely buy again.

Only had this laptop for a short time, but so far, I love it. Picked it up for its powerful processor and OLED screen and both turned to be a great decision. I also love the fact that is very lightweight, yet it has a battery that can power it for the entire day without plugging in. I tested it with the Revit 2026, and it worked much better than I anticipated with only 16Gb RAM. Long story short - I'm very happy with this purchase.

The ASUS Zenbook 14 is well equipped, light weight, very fast and easy to use. Additionally, the OLED screen is very clear and sharp. The OLED screen is one of the best characteristics of the Zenbook and the MS Surface PRO (I purchased one of these late in 2024). If I could give the screen quality 10 stars, I would. All around a great purchase.

    Zippy Zenbook

Opening up the ASUS Zenbook 14, it looks like a standard laptop. They call the shell color "Jasper Gray." There is a minimalist quality to the design. Even the logo on the cover is stylish, yet understated. Once you open up the unit, however, you will find quite a machine. Set up was a breeze. The touch screen is responsive to the slightest touch. Colors are fantastic. Keyboard is comfortable (though, I do miss the ten-key pad.) I was able to transfer my files and settings from my previous Asus laptop with no issues. The machine itself is zippy. Browsers are all responsive. I was able to register the laptop with ASUS, which alerted me to a new feature, called GlideX. It’s billed as a “cross-device connectivity software.” It allows you to remotely access and control your laptop. The GlideX app is available via the Microsoft App Store, the Google Play store, and the iOS store. I look forward to exploring that further. I used the laptop for a couple of video meetings that I had this week. The volume was robust and clear. No problems using the camera. Microphone worked great. I found the battery to last about 24-36 hours on one charge. The unit does not have a charge out of the box, so you will need to charge the laptop before setting it up. I am very happy with this Zenbook and would recommend it.

Needed to upgrade my MacBook Pro from 2015 and chose to upgrade to this ASUS laptop and it has not disappointed. Granted I mainly use for internet, email and office apps. Love the vivid display and touch screen capability. It’s pretty lightweight and good battery life. The one improvement area I noticed is when flipping open the screen, the base has a tendency to flip upwards with the screen - the downside of a lightweight base. Other than that, happy with purchase!

This Zenbook 14 inch Touch Screen Laptop has all the major wants of many laptop users today. It is very sleek and stylish as well as lightweight, which makes it easy to take along a do it all machine for work and pleasure every time that you gotta or wanna hit the road. It has vivid colors for photos and video display and there was no jitter or distortion while streaming a movie from the internet. Its fast and very responsive with plenty of storage space on the SSD and enough RAM for the average user or student not doing any heavy duty gaming or RAW format photo processing. The lighted keypad feature it has is a must for myself, but of course it can be turned off if not needed or desired. Its touch screen is nice and responsive but not overly sensitive that it would lead to errors when using that feature. Restoring this PC with features and settings from the last backup of my other laptop through my Microsoft account was a bit of a timesaver on getting this one all set up and ready to use. Of course the major time eating event was as usual the laptop doing all the required backups and instalation of them. That was about an hour and a half by itself. My dislikes are few, but I do prefer a keypad and not just a numbers row, but this is only a 14 inch laptop. But in my opinion Asus missed the opportunity of powering the laptop from either side of the laptop by placing both USBC connections on the same side. Had they placed on on each side, you would be able to have the cord on the side you wanted and not have to string it around the laptop to reach an outlet.
