I am very surprised for the price of this laptop, bought it for my sister for college. The i9 cpu, arc gpu, 1 tb ssd and 32gb ram are coming close to 900 (bought for 1050) in components + oled screen, motherboard and everything else basically came for free. I am extremely surprised with the price and performance and I thought it would be very noisy but it absolutely is not, 8 hours or so battery life for a laptop of this performance is great as well. As somene who bought 3 high end laptops in the last 10 years, nothing come close to price to performance.

The person who assisted me in getting the proper laptop for the job was awesome - I ma a profession DJ and run video and audio software and do performances with it it so it has to be a stable high functioning machine. IT was helpful they found something in my price range that far was beyond what I expected for the money inviolved.

Bought this for my son who is taking college classes. Eveyrhing has worked as it should, its light weight, the OLED screen is crystal clear, and it’s worked well for him so far. He’s only been using it about a month.

Lightweight, bright screen, fast, lots of storage. Everything I need in a laptop for travel.

This laptop is everything I hoped it would be. It's fast, efficient, and the build-quality is very premium. I did want more than 1TB of storage BUT it doesn't seem like this form-factor is offered with a higher capacity from the factory anyway. I wanted a no-fuss factory warranty. . and frankly, for my purposes the capacity limit forces me to be more responsible with my data as 1TB really is enough for my portable device. I can cloud or external-store any overage IF that day comes. The window-screen effect I was worried about with the touch-OLED is no factor for me. . I doubt I'd have noticed it anyway had I not read some other complaints about it. Each to their own. I really like the ASUS software that allows you to limit the battery charge to 80% for longevity reasons. Super happy with this machine.

Physically the laptop feels robust and well made. Oled screen looks great even though it's fhd at 60hz. I would say that for the purposes that I have used it for (web browsing, spotify, youtube videos, etc), it serves it's purpose very well. I'm sure it would be capable of handling much more demanding tasks but surely at the expense of battery life, heat and fan noise. I ran a game of marvel rivals just for fun and was definitely able to. The fan didn't get particularly loud, but it was definitely audible. Battery life drained pretty quickly as well but I assume that would be expected. When talking about battery life, it also seems pretty inconsistent but maybe it's because I have only used this laptop a couple of times and it hasn't gotten used to my type of usage so it's maybe it's still adapting? Not sure if this will level out in time but so far I think it would be fair to say battery life isn't what I expected.

I will be honest. At first, I was thinking about returning it because it got very hot while setting it up. I decided to continue and it didn't do it anymore. It works normally like any other laptop (I use it academically: research and essays) (not for gaming). The pros: Speed Graphics Dolby Atmos sound (I love it) Touchscreen Backlit keyboard The cons: No SD card slot Only 1 USB port 14 inch screen I recommend buying an adapter to read SD cards or a Thunderbolt Docking Station depending on your needs. I recomended this!

I tested the battery life versus a Lenovo Yoga 9i and for a 7 hour test from 100% at idle the Yoga ended at 77% and the Asus at 28%. To be fair the Yoga has an Ultra 7 and the Asus an Ultra 9. The Asus otherwise was a great machine and I returned it for the battery issue and kept the Lenovo. The battery life doesn't get better over time so the battery won over the processor. The OLED screen was beautiful. The keyboard was great. Both computers were very fast but I don't run apps that require the Ultra 9. The Asus felt premium and if you require the Ultra 9, I would suggest you buy it.

I have been using this laptop for about 3 weeks now and so far so good. What i like about this laptop is that it is fast and smooth and the display is nice. You won't have issues with performance with this laptop. I use it for class and homework and the battery can last me about 6 or so hours. What i dont like about the laptop is the mouse pad. It feels kinda cheap to be honest for a pricey laptop. Its hard to click and it just doesnt feel premium when clicking unlike some macs. Other than that i am satisfied i use it with several monitors and it doesnt have any issues i use demanding programs and it handles it well.

The Zenbook 14 Model UX3405C is well-built with a great OLED display, trackpad, and keyboard. I'd describe it as Mac Pro in the package of a Mac Air. The battery life is pretty good thanks to Arrow Lake at around 8 hours with heavy browser/media tasks, but there are some caveats if you use Linux on this beast. The Intel Ultra 285H chip chews through compile and build tasks and can idle at around 3 Watts. In summary, great laptop for everyday users and power-users alike. The Intel ARC GPU on it is plenty capable, but don't expect strong performance on demanding games. Technical details below. Virtually everything works out of the box with most modern Linux distributions and desktops. The webcam requires some tinkering since Asus' webcam software does not run on Linux - apps like guvcview and OBS' virtual camera should fix most issues. You may need additional packages for power and thermal management depending on your choice of Linux distribution. The touchscreen also works great on standard desktops like KDE Plasma and GNOME. You'll probably also need packages to properly use hardware acceleration with Intel ARC Graphics. Don't forget to update ASUS firmware through Windows before installing your favorite distro!

Excellent computer super fast, enjoy working and gaming without lag issues

I bought this laptop to use for work in healthcare. It does the job with mostly no issues, and handles multiple tabs and programs running at the same. Sometimes a bit laggy when switching back and forth, something I wasn't expecting from a brand new laptop. Watching videos and movies are stellar on the OLED screen.

I’m satisfied with this Asus laptop purchase all I wanted for my everyday needs. The most current and advanced processor, 14 inch for easy carry, amoled display, touchscreen, storage, memory and a good name brand . I recommend this computer my opinion for an everyday machine.
