It was exactly what he needed and suits him just fine. We bought it "open box" in excellent condition and it was just that. Happy to get a good deal and have a fine laptop as well. Graphics and sound quality are great for streaming and the keypad functionality is pretty sweet.

Doing the BIOS update breaks the speakers on the laptop. Unable to rollback as well. Until they fix it, I had to return it.

Usually, you could have to try to re-install the audio driver.
