    Open box looks like new

I ordered the laptop open boxed, and it arrived looking brand new. My only complaint is that I expected the original packaging since I ordered the geek squad certified one for a few dollars more. Isnt a big deal since it included everything else that was originally in the box. The laptop itself is sleek and lightweight, and the screen looks excellent. The resolution is odd but works for a laptop screen. The SSD is also easily upgradable, just a few screws to access. Keep in mind that when reinstalling the OS, you'll want to grab drivers for the mousepad/wifi or get an ethernet adapter since this laptop lacks an ethernet port.

Great screen - looks fantastic but it is not a touchscreen as the description says. May be taking it back since we wanted a touchscreen. Also, this can really generate some heat under modest load. This would be fine for school or light office duty with the added bonus of a great screen.

This computer runs well and better than expected. I was Leary of the Asus brand but it has performed well for my business needs. Just bought a new Asus for my daughter going to college.

"Amazing Screen" Easily best screen on any laptop sub 1500 dollars, but needs more ram and better alignment of vents for location of fan. Intake vent does not align up with fan location which makes for poor ventilation and gets quite loud under moderate load as well as hot.

I don’t know if it was just my unit but it was squeaky. This laptop is really only meant for viewing content, school, and casual browsing. The specs are good enough to handle those areas of use. If you’re buying a laptop to play games or for development or content creation, then obviously this isn’t the laptop to get. Apart from that, it has a beautiful oled display. It’s a Samsung display after all. It’s also capable of 90hz. Besides that, that’s really what you’re paying for- the display. Battery life is pretty decent. It should last you a day of regular browsing or content consumption. For the price, I’d say it’s decent.

Needed a windows laptop for not too much money with proper connections and a good screen, travel a lot. Can recommend. Paid 550$+tax Pro: Good travel size Excellent keyboard Connections, usb-c, usb-a, HDMI, SD mini Neutral: noticable fan noise when constantly working with word or browsing, but it's acceptable, doesn't feel like you are next to a jet Screen is bright, sharp, has vivid colors but somehow disappointed, color calibration might be off, used a MacBook pro 2021 16" retina before, prefer that Feels durable except for the hinge that has been poorly engineered imo. Fall down, nothing happened. Neg: Battery (3h? word, browsing) Sound, this is the worst about this laptop, again, coming from a MB 16" 2021

the item is good. But have a mistake information for the screen. It is a 2K or you can say it is a close 3K Oled monitor not a 4K monitor in the specifications. The weight monitor and design is gourgous. However, the fan noise is not that kind of friendly when do some light cpu work. If you need a silent laptop maybe you need to think twice before you buy it.

I use this as my daily driver and also do a lot of audio production on it. The screen is amazing for long editing sessions and of course for watching videos due to being an OLED screen with a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. The i5 12th gen handles everything I throw at it with audio production and digital art. I would highly recommend it!

I still can't believe the value for this laptop! I mostly use ChromeOS for work but recently needed a Windows laptop for use of a certain application. I needed something cheap to "get me buy" but the screen and power of this laptop has me using it more and more. The only major down side is the speakers.

This laptop is the best bang for your buck right now! It's thin and light, has an excellent keyboard, a smooth trackpad with built-in numbers key that you can toggle on or off, two fully functional Thunderbolt 4 ports, a fingerprint scanner, and absolutely one of the best screens I've ever seen on a laptop. The best thing is that this only costs $750. Sure it has some unwanted cons like any other device and for me, the only thing I don't like is that the charging ports are in the middle of the right side, but it's a minor gripe. Overall the laptop does an excellent job of school and work-related functions i.e. checking emails, browsing the web, writing some paper, and creating powerslides. When not doing productive work, watching movies on this laptop is highly enjoyable because of its high-quality OLED screen. The sound quality sounds good to me too. Your ears may be different but the best way I could describe it is it's the same quality if you were listening to a Galaxy Tab S7 or S8 tablet. Overall, if you are looking for a laptop that checks off your needs and without spending $1000 or more, then this laptop should be in at the top of your list.

I love the size & look of this little beauty. 14" makes it more portable. Most 14" laptops don't have a 10 key number pad and this one has it incorporated into the touchpad. It's very slim & light, has the processor and RAM that I needed and it has great graohics. I got this on sale, so I felt it was definitely worth the price!

A thin, light notebook with a stunning screen. Too good to be true... But do please be advised that if you want to do heavy work such as coding and graphing, you should NOT buy this machine. This is more like a notebook rather than a powerhouse.

You get a lot here, but its a cheap build. Lots of creaking and the lid moves a lot while typing. Very fast from wake up and fast all around. Great screen and 90hz is awsome in windows. Not as hot as other laptops with gen 11, but this is my first gen 12. No auto brightness for screen and no sensor that I see for keyboard backlighting. Most reviews I see don't cover how creaky this laptop is, so keep that mind. Keyboard is ok, nice size but typing is a little shallow. Its kinda of a odd one, since I love asus rog's, there tanks and its shows. If you want a generic 12th gen oled laptop not sure how you can beat this, but if your looking for a little more put together case, move along.

I have used a variety of laptops and I really like how light it is. It’s a very slim-looking device that you’ll be able to easily stow away in a messenger bag or rucksack. I needed a new laptop to transition and meet my daily needs. Lightweight and small, yet keyboard is still comfortable to use.

    Excellent Everyday Laptop

I purchased this laptop on sale for $500 and at this price point it was a much easier decision. No issues with the new Intel 12th-gen CPUs and the Xe graphics are decent enough for some light gaming. My worry of only 8GB of RAM was also put to rest as this laptop has no issues with everyday tasks (browsing the web, YouTube, Steam, etc.) Really, if you're looking for an everyday laptop that doesn't break the bank, or a second machine to offset a desktop or larger/powerhouse laptop, this is a great buy when on sale. Some customers mentioned the fan. During normal tasks the machine is silent. While gaming, I did hear it kick on but it's not close to a gaming laptop, etc. Plus, it's a single fan so it's not that loud. The only negative aspect I've seen is actually the screen - to a degree. I had this side-by-side with the 2022 Asus G14 and the whites looked more faded (which it sounds like OLED has a problem reproducing). Otherwise, the 400 nits for non-HDR content is good enough for most people.
