Very happy with this laptop. It does all the functions that I need, as well as others that I'm still exploring. Much better than the chromebook I had to return that didn't communicate or function with the programs I use. Nice size that fits into my carrying case along with my older ASUS laptop, so don't need to buy another case either.

Asus built an excellent device, its slims, light, great battery life and quite fast. I always wonder how the 5000 series performs considering how good this has been. This device is by far the best personal computer we have used for browsing and documents.

Super happy with my purchase! I did a lot of research on what to look for in a laptop and searched for hours for the one best for my needs. I bought this primarily for school. My old laptop was too large to carry around and started getting slow. I've been very happy with it since I bought it. I would definitely buy again.

Cool, quiet, powerfull, portable, thanks to AMD, the only draw back is the silverr/white backlighting on the keyboard is garbage, it's easier to see with the backlight off.

If you know what you are paying for here then you know it's a bargain.. This is a do it all and take it anywhere type laptop. Business stuff check School stuff check Gaming check Rendering check Editing check It may not be the most powerful but that's bc it is made to last on battery for a long time. Con-wish it had a bigger SSD

This machine is very good in its strong points and troubling in its one but important weak point. The weak point is its backlit keyboard -- backlighting so faint as to be nearly non-existent. For expert keyboardists, this is not much of a problem. For the rest of us, those who have eyesight that is less than 20/20 or have deficiency in keyboarding skill, it is a major stumbling block. The screen design is very good and amazing in its efficient use of available size. The ssd and ryzen processor assures top speed.

Needed to get my son something to use for distance learning and this was recommended by the Best Buy staff. It has worked well for his schoolwork. I wouldn't recommend for any sort of online game usage though

I purchased this laptop for my mother in law for her birthday and she loved it. She has been using it for a few weeks and loves the image quality and battery life. A great little laptop for simple tasks and web surfing.

I love it. It fits my needs to teach virtual. It has good storage space for me to save my school documents. The only drawback is the keyboard. It is hard to see (ease of use), so I brought a keyboard pad to help me see the keys. I could have given 4 stars but it is worth the 5 star rating. It is a great buy for the price.

Christmas gift for my teenage nephew. He loves it, works better than the school issued Chromebook, he was having a lot of trouble with it shutting off and freezing. This Zenbook allows him to go through class with ease. He also plugs it into an extra TV with and HDMI, to view a larger or even split screens. Great purchase.

Got this as an open box special and it was new. Very fast computer that also has decent memory and storage. Got as computer for high school student and she likes it. Only comment is similar to others in that the keyboard is harder to see during the day due to the light color and backlight. But not an issue for young eyes!

I got this laptop for my mom but I’ve used it for 2 days before giving it to her. I would recommend this if you need a general purpose laptop or something for school. The pros are that it’s small but doesn’t compromise screen size. The screen bezels are thin and very immersive when watching something and the screen is bright. The keys are backlit with white and very legible in the dark. Starts up quick and doesn’t stagger. Some cons are that the battery isn’t the largest. Since the body is also small this makes sense but you should bring the charger with you. The chassis feels weak but not horrible. For some reason the fans were running on full blast on idle when I first started using it. Removing the custom power settings created by asus fixed this issue. That being said it does come with bloatware from Asus that should be removed in my opinion.

I bought this laptop for my brother for college and it’s great! The size , lightness , sleekness and easy understanding is perfect for him. This laptop has the proper memory required for a student who is starting out college and will use it throughout their time there for homework projects etc.

A lot smaller than I expected. Used mainly for office work but I'm sure it'll work great for streaming services like netflix, hulu, etc. very lightweight and can fit is almost all carry-ons and ladies bags. Wish it came in more color ways and usb ports but can be done with vinyl wrap and usb extenders.

Great computer for the price! I love how it is lightweight and I can easily carry it anywhere..even in my purse/laptop bag. I love the backlit keyboard..very helpful when typing in low lighting. Great buy!

This laptop is amazing for what I need. The size and display is amazing. I have no issues connecting to the internet or the websites speed is fast. Battery power is great last pretty long for hours. This is a nice laptop for someone who doesn't want a bulky oversized laptop and light weight.

Unstoppable loud fan - twice , blank screen - once, unresponsive track pad - once , Can’t trust to give to a student. But good if you afford reboot while working on your stuff. Returned in two days. Two star- light weight, specs, sturdy chassis. Best Buy service- excellent.
