Not the computers fault, but I had to go back and redo several steps.

Small light and hard to read keys

Good for College Student

Purchase online was easy with next day pick up instore...which was appreciated since she did not have access to a back up and her old laptop just stopped working one day. s is very satisfied with the computer -- does everthing she needs it to.

The only circumstance you should consider another mid range pc is one with ryzen 7 4700U. The downside is a not so good keyboard.

Beautiful form factor, very sturdy (real metal casing!), great well-spaced keyboard, huge tracking pad for such a tiny computer, screen is beautiful. Only complaint is the fan runs constantly.

Overall its very slick and great for students and gamers

Has a lot of features for the money. She says it has a little backlight bleed around some of the edges but that it is no big deal. Nice screen but not a touchscreen.

Only issue is that when you close it, it doesn't really go to sleep, which keeps the machine hot and running

Everything works smoothly. But the problem is it works great when it wants to. The first unit I received had a spotty screen. The second one had a trackpad that just didn't work. It stuttered alot. Third unit was working fine. Until the keyboard stopped working a few days in. Then something on the inside started expanding. By the time I took it back to best buy it wouldn't turn on. Honestly this machine would be amazing if not form then QC issues

Lack of Thunderbolt ports for USB-C charging hurts which is good that they improved that in newer models.
