Nice laptop for average user and beyond Lightweight, comfortable keyboard Good choice for work and play purposes

I have been using the ASUS Zenbook 14 for a few days without issue. It is speedy and works perfectly as a new modern portable PC should. The build quality is excellent. It feels and looks premium. I do not use it for gaming or video editing, so I cannot speak to its performance in those areas, but for day-to-day use, it works flawlessly. However, it is not perfect; the display is clear and high quality, but it should be brighter. The matte finish on the 14” display cuts down nearly all reflections, but it was just a bit brighter; it would be perfect. Overall I would recommend this laptop to use for school, business, or any daily computing needs.

Slim small compact laptop design, lightweight, you can ajust the brightness of the lights on the keyboard and turn them off if prefered.

Overall, I really like this laptop. Good speed with startup, and basic applications. The screen colors are ok and I like the backlit keyboard. However, I really have to laugh when this is advertised as having "U.S. Military Grade Durability". This is absolutely not durable. Within 2 months of owning the laptop, the screen was bumped...not dropped, pulled or anything with any large amount of stress. The left hand side of the screen housing broke and separated from the keyboard. Unless I very carefully close the screen while applying pressure to the broken area, or apply tape in just right way, the bottom left hinge completely pulls itself away from the keyboard, the wires hang out and the cheap plastic piece pulls away from the screen. I have never owned such a poor quality laptop, especially one advertised as "Military Grade". If you plan on using your laptop for everyday basic things or plan on moving it around at all, I suggest going with a different one all together.

It's just the right size for mobility. I like the backlit keyboard which helps in low light settings. The key feel and strike force is very comfortable and the speed is good.

Happy with the purchase so far. The price was decent. Operating system meets my needs.

So far it's fast and more than capable for the office tasks I need. None of the weird Asus issues from the early and mid 2000s.

the Asus zenbook is great for travel and easy work. It is small and well made. It lacks the number key pad which I hate not having.

Extremely pleased with the ASUS laptop recommended by Geek Squad. Second one I've purchased and have been impressed by the performance of both.

Needed to change son’s MacBook Pro which was suffering from failing butterfly keys all within 3 years— no help from apple - I digress The ASUS was roughly the same size and had similar specs. After transferring stuff for his classes, he was back on track. He stated improved battery life, and he liked the responsive keyboard. No issues so far would recommend as an sub $700 economical alternative— He stated does everything his Mac did without her the keys falling off.

The laptop handles the basic everyday tasks smoothly. The build quality and is good.

Only had a couple of weeks but like it so for. Only one big drawback - only 1 usb port.

Installation and setup of different applications and tools was very intuitive after thinking about what I was trying to accomplish. I was able to get to my happy place with the installation and setup of my new Zenbook 14 Laptop. One thing that I would change is being able to position the system so that it lies on my desk at an increased incline angle so that it allow me to rest both of my hands at an incline for typing ease.

After doing ALOT of research it was between a chromebook and another brand laptop. Let me just say that i am extremely happy that the tech guy showed me this zenbook!! I dont have issues, its easy to use, has great options, the keys are quiet and dont stick. Only down side is the keys dont light up, doesnt bother me but i know people who like the light up keys. Also the only thing that im not used to is it sits at a specific angle and when im trying to type on my lap it can be a bit difficult. Other then that there has been no major issues!!

Great laptop for school, small and light make it easy for travel. I am in love. Great picture and the speed is so fast!

Works great but if left on for more than an hour it gets very hot.

The bottom of the laptop gets hot. A way to mitigate that is by resting the laptop on a fan cooling pad. The specs are impressive for the price I paid on sale - around $570 with tax.

I had been using my 8 year old HP Notebook before it finally died on me. This is my first Asus and it has not dissapointed. I appreciate that it has minimal to no bloatware preinstalled (HP has so much). I have had no issues with it after using for several days. It is fast, easy to customize, and has had no issues running multiple tasks at once. I do a lot of internet browsing, email sending, streaming, and light audio editing- it has kept up with all of that.

Great light laptop. I use it when I travel. It has the essentials plus the quality of Asus products.

A good laptop in terms of quality and price, I recommend.
