an excellent laptop, one of the best purchases, I totally recommend it

Rep told me it was a touch screen. It isn't. Also I find the keyboard hard to see because the letters and numbers seem to blend with the color of the keyboard.

1st off this laptop is very small for a 14" screen, and it's nice and thin too. The build quality, and fit and finish is superb! The materials it's built out of have a solid premium quality, and the design and craftsmanship give it a high end look that is very impressive. I took it out of the box, plugged in the charger, and Cortana, MS virtual assistant helped me through the initial set up which didn't take much time at all. Once up and running I downloaded some benchmark software so I could compare see how well it performs. This little lap top is a BEAST! It completely dominated in the benchmarks I ran with amazing scores for processing power, Memory, and Hard drive performance. The only low score was for gaming graphics. The processor is fast enough to game, but the graphics card would require low eye candy. That makes sense though as this isn't advertised as a gaming computer, and the included graphics card is more than capable for performing desktop type tasks and for watching videos and streaming etc... The ergonomics are great, the keyboard works perfectly with nice tactile clicky keystrokes, and the keys can be nicely back lit for working in the dark, or in dimly lit areas. I'm not a fan of touch pads but this one works very well and I actually didn't miss having an actual mouse to use. But a standard USB mouse will work just fine, as will a blue tooth mouse if so inclined. I'm very impressed with the level of quality and classiness that Asus has put into this laptop! It looks and feels like it should cost 3 times more than it actually does, and it has the performance to match it's good looks as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone shopping for a new computer, you won't be disappointed!

Great laptop for the price. Lightweight, sleek, and can run Minecraft without issue.

Solid feeling laptop. The metal chassis is perfect. Good for simple tasks. A little slow to start up Netflix (I have the fastest XFinity service available) but it plays the movies just fine. Just make sure you have realistic expectations.
